  • Patent number: 11914390
Abstract: Techniques for determining information associated with sounds detected in an environment based on audio data and map data or perception data are discussed herein. A vehicle can use map data and/or perception data to distinguish between multiple audio signals or sounds. A direct source of sound can be distinguished from a reflected source of sound by determining a direction of arrival of sounds and which objects the directions of arrival are associated with in the environment. A reflected sound can be received without receiving a direct sound. Based on the reflected sound and map data or perception data, characteristics of sound in an occluded region of the environment may be determined and used to control the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11909773
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed can evaluate security detection rules in a network security computing environment. Results for a processed log of security events can be retrieved. The results can identify determined outcomes for instances triggering security detection rules. The security detection rules can detect specific behavior on a network by being processed against a log of security events. Scores for the security detection rules can be determined based on the results of the processed log of security events and the determined outcomes. The security detection rules can be ranked based on the scores, from highest to lowest score. The highest score can indicate that a corresponding rule is performing worst among the security detection rules and the lowest score can indicate that a corresponding rule is performing best among the security detection rules. A rules score report can be generated based on the ranked rules.

  • Patent number: 11904428
Abstract: A blade sharpening and blade sharpness detection system for permitting blade sharpening and a determination of blade sharpness without mechanical contact with the blade cutting edge. An optical inspection unit inspects blade sharpness optically, and a blade positioning and guidance mechanism positions and guides the blade in relation to the optical inspection unit. An output display provides visual output of blade sharpness. The optical inspection unit, which can be a reflective optical sensor, and the blade positioning and guidance mechanism are retained by a pivotable support structure. The positioning and guidance mechanism can comprise first and second pairs of rotatable spheres, each such pair disposed in immediate juxtaposition to act as rolling supports for the blade. The entry of ambient light into the sharpness sensing volume can be prevented by resiliently deflectable light-blocking bodies retained to first and second sides of a sharpness inspection slot within the housing.

  • Patent number: 11906958
Abstract: State-of-the-art approaches have concentrated on building solution(s) to match the amplitude of a time series with a user given one. However, these have failed to implement solution(s) which enables searching for pattern(s) that can depict human vision psychology. Embodiments of the present disclosure determine occurrence of pattern of interest in time series data for anomaly detection, wherein time series data is obtained, and first order derivative is computed. Further an angle of change in direction is derived based on a gradient of change in value of the time series data. This angle is further converted to a measurement unit. The time series data is quantized into bins and a weighted finite state transducers diagram (WFSTD) is obtained based on domain knowledge which is then converted to specific pattern. The specific pattern is searched in the bins to determine occurrence/count of the specific pattern for anomaly detection.

  • Patent number: 11906318
Abstract: The disclosure relates to technology for a navigation system that enhances the safety of drivers using fatigue detection mapping. The navigation system accesses data sources storing map data a route for drivers of one or more first vehicles. Based on the map data, a personalized fatigue map for a driver of a second vehicle is generated based on the map data. The personalized fatigue map displays predicted driver fatigue of the driver of the second vehicle on the route. Drivers in the first and second vehicles are monitored to detect driver fatigue and a level of the driver fatigue is measured according to a calculated fatigue score. When driver fatigue is detected, a recommendation is output to the driver of the second vehicle that is based on the level of the driver fatigue. The personalized fatigue map is updated to reflect the recommendation.

  • Patent number: 11899794
Abstract: Robustness of a machine learning model can be characterized by receiving a file with a known, first classification by the machine learning model. Thereafter, a selection is made as to which of a plurality of perturbation algorithms to use to modify the file. The perturbation algorithm is selected as to provide a shortest sequence of actions to cause the machine learning model to provide a desired classification. Subsequently, the received file is iteratively modified using the selected perturbation algorithm and inputting the corresponding modified file into the machine learning model until the machine learning model outputs a known, second classification. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
