  • Patent number: 10938684
Abstract: The disclosed technology offers methods of updating a data cube of samples and a display on a client device with a processor. The method provides GUI clients to computer devices; receives initial reports of sample values organized by sampled computing device and sampled aspect of operations, and identified by group membership and super-group membership; receives, from the devices, samples that update reports of sampled aspects of operations; and pushes updated reports to the GUI clients. The GUI clients calculate and update group and super-group aggregate operational status; and display a hierarchical representation of the aggregate operational status of the super-groups and groups and of the operational status of the computing devices, based on the sample values, in real or near real time, as received samples reach the clients. The operator viewing the display of the hierarchical representation is notified of operational aspects that require close monitoring or immediate remedial attention.

  • Patent number: 10846044
Abstract: An information handling system includes a redirection module and an audio/video module. The redirection module receives an audio data frame and an image data frame, analyzes the image data frame for a trigger event. In response the trigger event being detected in the image data frame, the redirection module replaces the audio data frame with a silent audio data frame and provides the silent audio data frame to the audio/video module. Otherwise the redirection module provides the audio data frame to the audio/video module. The audio/video module receives and transmits either the audio data frame or the silent audio data frame.

Abstract: A programmable power tool and method and systems of programming a power tool using wireless communication. An external device having a processor and a transceiver establishes a communication link with the power tool. The external device receives, with the transceiver, a first mode profile stored on the power tool. The first mode profile is defined by a profile type and a first value associated with a parameter for executing the profile type. The external device displays a control screen including the profile type and the parameter at the first value, and receives a user input. The external device generates, in response to the user input, a second mode profile by modifying the parameter to be at a second value. The external device transmits, with the transceiver, the second mode profile to the power tool.

  • Patent number: 10817313
Abstract: An initial workspace recommendation engine recommends a user interface component available for inclusion in an initial workspace of a newly installed application instance. In some cases, a classifier included in the engine classifies the available user interface component based on data describing multiple previously installed instances of the application. For example, the multiple instances are installed on multiple user devices, and are associated with user features describing the installed instances. In addition, the initial workspace recommendation engine receives a set of new user features associated with the newly installed application instance. The classifier classifies the available user interface component based on a similarity between the new user features and the user features describing the installed instances.

  • Patent number: 10775981
Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided a computer-implemented method for duplicating a modeled object displayed on a touch screen and designing its duplicated version in a single gesture. The method comprises detecting (201) contact of an appendage within an activation zone associated to the first modeled object. If the contact is maintained more than a predetermined amount of time Tm (202), the method duplicates (203) the first modeled object into a second modeled object. The method, while maintaining contact between the appendage and the touch screen, performs at least one design operation (204) on the second modeled object depending of the movement of the appendage on the touch screen.

  • Patent number: 10775997
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of causing a control interface to be presented on a touch-enabled device based on a motion or absence thereof. A motion, such as a hover gesture, can be detected and the control interface presented in response to the detection. Alternatively, absence of a motion can be detected and the control interface presented in response to the detection. A hover gesture can occur without a user physically touching a touch screen of a touch-enabled device. Instead, the user's finger or fingers can be positioned at a spaced distance above the touch screen. The touch screen can detect that the user's fingers are proximate to the touch screen, such as through capacitive sensing. Additionally, finger movement can be detected while the fingers are hovering to expand the existing options for gesture input.
