Abstract: A spray gun for cleaning using a dense fluid such as CO.sub.2, provides snow pellets of controllable size and kinetic energy, the kinetic energy being at a significantly higher level than has heretofore been attainable. A heated or thermal ionized gas is passed at substantial pressure accelerates the snow particles with an enveloping stream of gas. Charge build-up both within the snow delivery tube and in the substrate region is minimized by the use of a grounding helix in the snow delivery tube, in conjunction with the thermal ionized gas.
Abstract: A hand truck which may be collapsed by operation of a pivotable support plate and pivotable load bearing side brace members which may be readily detached from the support plate. The hand truck includes a substantially rectangular frame having an upper handle portion, two parallel side portions, and a lower portion. A pair of wheels are rotatably secured in opposed axial alignment on opposite sides of the lower portion of the frame. A support plate pivotably attaches to the lower portion of the frame so that the support plate may pivot about a substantially horizontal axis between a lower horizontally disposed operative position and an upper vertically disposed storage position.
Abstract: A hydraulic wheel motor and pump are provided for use with a motor vehicle having a pair of mechanically driven wheels and a pair of non-mechanically driven wheels. The hydraulic pumps cooperate with the mechanically driven wheels, and the hydraulic motors are coupled to the non-mechanically driven wheels. The pumps and motors are diagonally connected to one another to create a four wheel drive vehicle. Also shown is an apparatus and method for independently controlling the tractive force of the vehicle wheels during a turning maneuver.
Abstract: A nozzle assembly is interconnected with the delivery passageway or conduit from a hand pump sprayer. The nozzle assembly has a first and second passageway, preferably conduits which are connected to the delivery passageway or conduit and splits the fluid preferably pan coating exiting from the delivery passageway or conduit into two streams. The cross sectional flow area of the first and second conduit is smaller than the cross sectional flow area of the delivery conduit so that the velocity of the pan coating increases upon entry into the first and second conduits located in the nozzle assembly. Each conduit has a fluid outlet to the atmosphere. The first and second conduits in combination with said fluid outlets define a discharge axis. The first fluid conduit discharge axis intersects the second fluid discharge axis at an impingement angle .beta. of from 10.degree. to 170.degree. preferably from 60.degree. to 140.degree.
Abstract: A sheet feed mechanism has an array of suction cups into and out of contact with an uppermost one of stacked sheets in a sheet cassette. After the suction cups are held against the uppermost sheet, a vacuum is developed in the suction cups to enable the suction cups to attract the uppermost sheet. Then, the suction cups are lifted with the uppermost sheet attracted thereto, and a leading end of the attracted and lifted uppermost sheet is nipped, and the sheet is delivered into a sheet feed path. When the suction cups are lifted, they are angularly moved about an axis to cause the leading end of the attracted uppermost sheet to be obliquely separated from other stacked sheets.
