  • Patent number: 11711404
Abstract: A communication platform may comprise different systems for helping a user discover features of the platform. However, the systems may generate different results. An application programming interface (API) may receive such outputs and may be configured to select between the outputs based on detecting a state at a user's computing device and/or using a machine-learned model to weight the outputs and/or probabilities associated therewith using a target metric. The API may then rank the outputs and select from among them based at least in part on the target metric.

  • Patent number: 11669751
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a time series of measurement values from a communication network and train a prediction model in accordance with the time series of measurement values to predict future instances of an event of interest, where the time series of measurement values is labeled with one or more indicators of instances of the event of interest. The processing system may then generate a deterministic finite automaton based upon the prediction model, convert the deterministic finite automaton into a rule set, and deploy the rule set to at least one network component of the communication network.

  • Patent number: 11646935
Abstract: A network controller for a mesh network of routers in a communication system. The network controller automatically monitors the mesh network; determines to add one or more new software-based routers to the mesh network; provisions one or more programmable resources to be the one or more new software-based routers in the mesh network; and configures the one or more new software-based router to support one or more new paths through the mesh network. In some implementations, the controller automatically accesses one or more corresponding OEM libraries to retrieve one or more configuration protocols for the one or more programmable resources and uses the one or more retrieved configuration protocols to provision the one or more programmable resources using NFV and SDN technologies and configure the one or more new software-based routers. The controller may also automatically decommission one or more existing software-based routers from the network when appropriate.

  • Patent number: 11638050
Abstract: A system and method for management of bandwidth shared by a plurality of video content encoders is provided. A management service coordinates an unequal allocation of available bandwidth among a set of encoding nodes. A management service can receive measured bandwidth attributes from a plurality of encoding nodes to determine a total available bandwidth. The management service can receive measured bandwidth attributes from a plurality of encoding nodes that is transmitted to the management service in accordance with an IoT based messaging protocol. The management service can then allocate the available bandwidth based on different criteria. The management service can then transmit the allocated bandwidth to the encoding nodes using the IoT based messaging protocol.

  • Patent number: 11595501
Abstract: Providing TCP/IP control commands to a storage system includes intercepting TCP/IP data provided on a TCP/IP network, determining if the TCP/IP data corresponds to a control command directed to the storage system, and converting the TCP/IP data to a Fibre Channel control command that is forwarded to the storage system if the TCP/IP data is a control command directed to the storage system. A host may intercept the TCP/IP data. The host may be coupled to the storage system. The storage system may have only Fibre Channel connectivity. A PC having only TCP/IP connectivity may provide the control commands via the TCP/IP network. At least two hosts may be coupled to the TCP/IP network. Software on one of the hosts may provide the control commands for the storage system. The storage system may be coupled to an other one of the hosts.

  • Patent number: 11588917
Abstract: A method for a communication between an application and a machine in a production or a physical object with the aid of a digital twin of a machine in a production or a physical object. Descriptive data including properties of digital data are generated based on a descriptive meta model. In addition, communication information is produced. To create the digital twin, the descriptive data, the communication information and a designation of the machine or the physical object are combined and stored in a list in order to create the digital twin. The application reads out the information of the list and uses it for a data exchange with the machine.

  • Patent number: 11570272
Abstract: A method for data provisioning a serverless computing cluster. A plurality of user defined functions (UDFs) are received for execution on worker nodes of the serverless computing cluster. For a first UDF, one or more data locations of UDF data needed to execute the first UDF are determined. At a master node of the serverless computing cluster, a plurality of worker node tickets are received, each ticket indicating a resource availability of a corresponding worker node. The one or more data locations and the plurality of worker node tickets are analyzed to determine eligible worker nodes capable of executing the first UDF. The master node transmits a pre-fetch command to one or more of the eligible worker nodes, causing the eligible worker nodes to become a provisioned worker node for the first UDF by storing a pre-fetched first UDF data before the first UDF is assigned for execution.

  • Patent number: 11513858
Abstract: The present application reveals a system for computing and a method for arranging nodes thereof, which is applied for a remote host connected with a plurality of computing nodes divided to a plurality of first nodes and second nodes due to a first computing mode and a second computing mode. After the remote host receives a job, the remote host evaluates the computing nodes in accordance with the job and a corresponding priority weight parameter to generate a job beginning data to set the first nodes or the second nodes and to proceed the job. While setting the first or the second nodes, the remote host provides the corresponding system image to the corresponding nodes; while the first or the second nodes are full in resource arrangement, the empty nodes will be converted to the supplement nodes with the corresponding system image from the remote host.
