  • Patent number: 6666386
Abstract: An atomizing spray nozzle structure comprising a main unit, a rotor and a spray nozzle, wherein the main unit and the spray nozzle are joined by thread tightening. Inside the main unit is an accommodating space. The spray nozzle has a through channel running along the axis thereof. The accommodating space is communicative with the through channel, having a rotor inside the through channel and the accommodating space, characterized in that: an end of the rotor corresponding to the accommodating space is a tapered end, and a neck is protruded from the tapered end, the length of the rotor is longer than the through channel at all circumstances, and the end with protruded neck exposed in the accommodating space of the main unit; thereby the rotor can be easily taken out for cleaning purpose after the main unit and the spray nozzle are disassembled.

  • Patent number: 6637674
Abstract: A device for supplying preferably liquid or gaseous fuels to a combustion chamber is provided. The device includes a nozzle body which contains a hollow chamber and can be connected to a fuel supply line. The outlet of the nozzle body can be closed using a sealing element which has at least one flow channel, preferably a sealing cone. An actuating element (22) is located in the hollow chamber (2) of the nozzle body (1). The actuating element (22) controls the sealing element (11) and can be displaced in a first direction by the fuel which is to be supplied, against the force of a counter-bearing (23) located in the hollow chamber (2). This results in the exposure of the outlet (18) of the nozzle body (1). The sealing element (11) can be displaced in a second direction opposed to the first direction by the counter-bearing (23), in order to close the outlet (18).

  • Patent number: 6626169
Abstract: An anatomically-shaped airway ventilation and intubating device is disclosed, which may comprise a flexible elongated conduit adapted to fit in a patient's oropharynx. The conduit may be partially divided into an intubation lumen and a ventilation lumen, having apertures at the proximal end of the conduit. The distl end of the conduit may be substantially opposite the esophagus opening of the patient when the device is inserted into the oropharynx. The ventilation and intubation lumens may be in fluid communication with an aperture located between the proximate end and the distal end of the conduit, which aperture may be substantially opposite the laryngeal opening of the patient when the device is inserted into the oropharynx.

  • Patent number: 6615824
Abstract: An apparatus for delivery of a medicament to the respiratory system comprises a reservoir that is adapted to hold a liquid medicament that is to be delivered to a respiratory system. An aerosol generator is provided that is adapted to aerosolize the liquid medicament. A liquid supplier is used to deliver the liquid medicament from the reservoir to the aerosol generator. A connector is operably coupled to the aerosol generator and comprises a gas conduit having an inlet, and an outlet, and an aerosol supply conduit. The aerosol generator is configured to provide the aerosolized liquid medicament into the gas conduit through the aerosol supply conduit, and the gas conduit is adapted to pass gases to entrain the aerosolized liquid medicament.

  • Patent number: 6615417
Abstract: An anti-entrapment, anti-vortex swimming pool and/or wading pool drain cover having a discus or wheel-like configuration with a relatively large radius, substantially larger than the radius of a pool drain which the drain cover is intended to cover, so that the disk extends out over the pool floor or other surface having the drain, radially beyond the drain, the disk carrying beneath it a plurality of evenly spaced radial ribs which define between them channels opening at the periphery; the ribs support the cover on the surface in which the drain is located so that the disk periphery stands off that surface for water flow intake beneath through the side inlets; the ribs and channels control water flow beneath the disk so that water flows relatively evenly in the channels from the periphery and then into the drain without potential for pool user entrapment and substantially without vortex creation.

  • Patent number: 6598245
Abstract: An automatic water feed mechanism and method is provided by equipping a lavatory with a two dimensional sensor array such as a camera unit for monitoring a target area that a user may enter. An infrared emitter and an infrared detector can also be activated at low light levels. A two dimensional image signal can be processed and compared with a stored reference signal for activating the release of water. At a low ambient light, the infrared emitter unit can be activated to emit infrared rays which can then be detected when reflected by a user by the infrared detector. Such a detection can provide an alternative release of water.

  • Patent number: 6557780
Abstract: A padding is placed around an underground irrigation pipe which allows the irrigation pipe to flex and bend when the irrigation pipe is struck or compressed. The padding is preferably a synthetic polymer that substantially reverts back to its original size after the compressing force is removed and is not affected by the elements. The padding is used over the irrigation pipe in areas of heavy traffic over the pipe or areas where the pipe may be struck. The pipe can be inserted into apertures in the padding or slits can be made in the padding to allow insertion of the pipe into the apertures. These channels can be prefabricated or cut into the padding as needed.
