  • Patent number: 11582132
Abstract: A device may receive a hash table that includes lists of protocol detectors, wherein the hash table is generated based on historical process data identifying potential process variables associated with an industrial control system. The device may receive a packet identifying potential process variables associated with the industrial control system, and may extract, from the packet, packet data identifying a source address, a destination address, a port, and a transport protocol. The device may compare the packet data with data in the hash table to identify a set of lists of protocol detectors, and may process the packet data, with the set of lists of protocol detectors, to determine a matching protocol, no matching protocol, or a potential matching protocol for the packet. The device may perform one or more actions based on determining the matching protocol, no matching protocol, or the potential matching protocol for the packet.

  • Patent number: 11575744
Abstract: A method of controlling and coordinating of processing steps in a distributed system can be implemented by an initiator node of a cyclically-ordered set of nodes participating in a blockchain network (e.g., Bitcoin blockchain). The method includes generating a private key and cryptographic shares thereof for the nodes of the set and distributing them. A locking value is determined based on the shares and a transaction is arranged to transmit control of a resource responsive to supply of a corresponding unlocking value. A circuit of transactions amongst the nodes each arranged to transmit control of a resource responsive to supply of an unlocking value corresponding to a locking value determined based on the share distributed to a first node of one of two adjacent nodes and a value received from another node immediately previous to it is prepared. The initiator node may belong to a cyclically-ordered set of initiator nodes.

  • Patent number: 11570237
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing client-side load balancing for remote application servers. An example method comprises receiving, by a publishing server, an application server status information reflecting computing resource utilization by each application server of a plurality of application servers; receiving a request initiated by a client computing device to access a published application executable by at least a subset of the plurality of application servers; and responsive to determining that a load metric reflecting performance of the publishing server exceeds a threshold value, transmitting an instruction to the client computing device to perform client-side load balancing using a snapshot of the application server status information to select an application server of the subset of the plurality of application servers.

  • Patent number: 11558320
Abstract: A method and system for providing interoperability for Rich Communications Suite/Systems (RCS) messaging with local and remote applications. If a target network device cannot directly receive RCS messages, electronic messages are modified on an RCS message application to include different types of electronic links to remote or local RCS interoperability applications. The local or remote RCS interoperability applications independently provides seamless, rich multi-media RCS functionality to the target network device when the electronic link is activated in the modified electronic message. The local or remote RCS interoperability applications provide two-way RCS message communications between target network devices without RCS functionality and target network devices with RCS functionality.

  • Patent number: 11539583
Abstract: One or more nodes on a network can run a network discovery service to obtain information regarding network configuration parameters for the nodes on the network by passively listening for packets received on one or more ports. The discovered network configuration data can be used to identify a configuration for various types of nodes. The configuration can then be used to facilitate checking, testing, or self-configuration of a network configuration of one of the nodes (e.g., a lead node or a new node).

  • Patent number: 11528341
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to cognitive automation-based engine processing to propagate data across multiple systems via a private network to overcome technical system, resource consumption, and architecture limitations. Data to be propagated can be manually input or extracted from a digital file. The data can be parsed by analyzing for correct syntax, normalized into first through sixth normal forms, segmented into packets for efficient data transmission, validated to ensure that the data satisfies defined formats and input criteria, and distributed into a plurality of data stores coupled to the private network, thereby propagating data without repetitive manual entry. The data may also be enriched by, for example, correcting for any errors or linking with other potentially related data. Based on data enrichment, recommendations of additional target(s) for propagation of data can be identified. Reports may also be generated. The cognitive automation may be performed in real-time to expedite processing.

  • Patent number: 11494209
Abstract: An improved browser application that provides a view with the option of displaying simultaneously content of a plurality of “tabs” of the browser application on one or more displays, regardless of whether the tabs are active or inactive, is described herein. For example, the browser application can display simultaneously the content of multiple tabs and allow a user to resize and reposition the content of any one tab independent of the size, position, or number of other displayed tab content. Thus, in some circumstances, the content of one tab can partially or fully overlap (and therefore partially or fully hide) the content of another tab after a user manipulation of the size or position of tab content.

  • Patent number: 11431586
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for resolving discrepancies that occur to interrelated computing resources from computing resource drift. Users may describe computing resources in an infrastructure template. However, computing resource drift occurs when “out-of-band” modifications are made to the computing resources and are not reflected in the infrastructure template. To resolve discrepancies between the infrastructure template and the out-of-band modifications to the computing resources, a notification may be output to a user account associated with the computing resources detailing the differences. An updated infrastructure template may be received that resolves the differences, such as by including configuration settings that reflect a current state of the computing resources. The computing resources may then execute a workflow using the updated template, such that the workflow is executed on all of the computing resources in a current state.

  • Patent number: 11416309
Abstract: Technologies for dynamic accelerator selection include a compute sled. The compute sled includes a network interface controller to communicate with a remote accelerator of an accelerator sled over a network, where the network interface controller includes a local accelerator and a compute engine. The compute engine is to obtain network telemetry data indicative of a level of bandwidth saturation of the network. The compute engine is also to determine whether to accelerate a function managed by the compute sled. The compute engine is further to determine, in response to a determination to accelerate the function, whether to offload the function to the remote accelerator of the accelerator sled based on the telemetry data. Also the compute engine is to assign, in response a determination not to offload the function to the remote accelerator, the function to the local accelerator of the network interface controller.
