Patent number: 11977603Abstract: Disclosed is an approach for evaluating internal consistency of object classifications using machine learning modeling. In an example, models are iteratively trained, using supervised learning, on different majority segments (e.g., about 90%) of a dataset as training data segments. Trained models can be applied to the remaining data (e.g., about 10%) as test data segments to obtain, for each object, a predicted classification and a confidence score. Models in training iterations (e.g., 10 iterations) may be independently trained on substantially non-overlapping test data segments (with each iteration testing, e.g., about 10% of the dataset). When a model's predicted classification disagrees from a prior classification, and the confidence of the prediction is sufficiently high (indicating sufficiently strong disagreement), the object's prior classification may be revised. Training data, other than the data itself being evaluated for consistency, is not necessarily required.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2020Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.Inventors: Carleton J. Patent number: 11967421Abstract: In a monitoring method for generating maintenance alerts, component IDs are extracted which identify medical imaging device components in electronic medical imaging device manuals (25, 26, 27, 28). Operating parameters of the medical imaging device components and associated operating parameter ranges are also extracted from the manuals, based on numeric values, parameter terms identifying operating parameters, and linking terms or symbols indicative of equality or inequality that connect the numeric values and parameter terms. The operating parameter ranges are formulated into decision rules (36) which are applied to log data (40) generated by a monitored medical imaging device (2) to detect out-of-range log data generated by the monitored medical imaging device. Maintenance alerts (24) are displayed on a display (18) in response to the detected out-of-range log data. The maintenance alerts are generated from out-of-range log data and are associated with component IDs contained in the out-of-range log data.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2019Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS N.V.Inventors: Ravindra Balasaheb Patil, Meru Adagouda Patil, Sarif Kumar Naik, Vidya Ravi

Patent number: 11966822Abstract: Disclosed are a computer-implemented method, a system and a computer program product for feature processing. In the computer-implemented method for feature processing, two input features selected from multiple features of each sample in a sample set are projected to one resulting feature by one or more processing units based on a specified curve. The sample set is updated by replacing the two input features with the one resulting feature for each sample in the sample set by one or more processing units. The projecting and the updating for the sample set are repeated by one or more processing units until the number of features of each sample in the sample set reaches a predetermined criterion.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2020Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Chun Lei Xu, Si Er Han, Shi Bin Liu, Yi Shao, Lei Tian, Hao Zheng, Jia Rui Wang

Patent number: 11954309Abstract: In implementations of systems for predicting a terminal event, a computing device implements a termination system to receive input data defining a period of time and a maximum event threshold. This system uses a classification model to generate event scores for a plurality of entity devices. Each of the event scores indicates a probability of an event occurrence for a corresponding entity device within a period of time. The plurality of entity devices are segmented into a first segment and a second segment based on an event score threshold. Entity devices included in the first segment have event scores greater than the event score threshold and entity devices included in the second segment have event scores below the event score threshold. The termination system generates an indication of a probability that a number of event occurrences for the entity devices included in the second segment exceeds the maximum even threshold within the period of time.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Adobe Inc.Inventors: Amit Doda, Gaurav Sinha, Kai Yeung Lau, Akangsha Sunil Bedmutha, Shiv Kumar Saini, Ritwik Sinha, Vaidyanathan Venkatraman, Niranjan Shivanand Kumbi, Omar Rahman, Atanu R. Patent number: 11874900Abstract: Novel and useful system and methods of functional safety mechanisms for use in an artificial neural network (ANN) processor. The mechanisms can be deployed individually or in combination to provide a desired level of safety in neural networks. Multiple strategies are applied involving redundancy by design, redundancy through spatial mapping as well as self-tuning procedures that modify static (weights) and monitor dynamic (activations) behavior. The NN processor incorporates functional safety concepts which reduce its risk of failure that occurs during operation from going unnoticed. The mechanisms function to detect and promptly flag and report the occurrence of an error with some mechanisms capable of correction as well. The safety mechanisms cover data stream fault detection, software defined redundant allocation, cluster interlayer safety, cluster intralayer safety, layer control unit (LCU) instruction addressing, weights storage safety, and neural network intermediate results storage safety.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2020Date of Patent: January 16, 2024Inventors: Guy Kaminitz, Ori Katz, Or Danon, Daniel Chibotero, Roi Seznayov, Nir Engelberg, Avi Baum, Itai Resh

Patent number: 11829588Abstract: A method of generating a transfer request is described. A window that is displayed independent of a service interface of a service application and corresponds to the service application is generated by processing circuitry of a first terminal according to an independent window presentation interface. The window that is independent of the service interface of the service application is displayed based on a window display request from the service application. A user operation is received via the window. A transfer code request instruction is generated in response to the received operation. A transfer code corresponding to the transfer code request instruction is obtained when the service application detects the transfer code request instruction. The transfer code is displayed for processing by a second terminal to generate the transfer request.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2022Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Assignee: Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Company LimitedInventor: Long Li

Patent number: 11823667Abstract: Techniques for modifying rules for completing requests using a conversational interface are disclosed. A conversational interface receives a user request to perform a particular function. A system extracts semantic content from the request and obtains contextual metadata associated with the request. Using the semantic content and contextual metadata, the system generates a data set of attribute values. The system determines whether the data set matches a data set of required data attributes associated with the request. If the provided data set is different than the required data set, the system determines whether to modify a set of rules associated with the request. The set of rules specifies which attribute values are required to complete the request. When the system modifies the rules associated with the request, the system also determines whether to apply the rule modification to subsequent requests by the same user and other users.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2022Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Raja V.
