  • Patent number: 6892489
Abstract: A completely flexible fishing lure designed to imitate the look and motion of a fish or other living creature when towed through the water on a fishing line. The lure consists of a body made of flexible material with two tails of a general semi-circular or sickle shape, integrally molded to the body and made of the same material. The tails are positioned opposite one another with the inside edge of each tail facing the inside edge of the other at the point of attachment. Each tail may also be positioned to overlap the other. Each tail extends first in a rearward direction and at some point in its length turns inward and crosses the other tail. After crossing the other tail each tail extends outward and forward or extends away from the other tail. The tails are molded thin and generally membrane-like but the thickness is variable depending on the action desired. Both tails are separated during the molding process and in use.

  • Patent number: 6880288
Abstract: A removable and interchangeable limited resistance dive-action bait-navigating fishing bobber comprising, a substantially flat floatant body of an inverted tear drop design having a bottom slot containing a top notch for receiving a fishing line and a bottom notch for receiving a weight, a conical shaped weight having front and back ear extensions with a connecting rod that interlocks into the bottom notch of the slot in the floatant body retaining the weight to the floatant body. The top of the ear extensions forms a hole in the top notch of the slot retaining the bobber to the fishing line. The weight is removable from the floatant body when the rod is pulled out of the bottom notch allowing the bobber to be removed from the fishing line and the floatant body and weight to be interchangeable with other weights and bodies.

  • Patent number: 6880287
Abstract: The fishing lure is a spinnerbait type of fishing lure having twin spinner blades supported by supporting wires designed to increase the vibration and action of the fishing lure. The spinner blades are positioned side-by-side, above a weighted lure body, skirt, and hook, so that as the blades spin they make frequent contact with one another to produce a clicking noise. The fishing lure thus combines the flash and noise of the spinner blades with vibration and action of the lure to better attract fish in a wide range of circumstances.

  • Patent number: 6860062
Abstract: An insect station for insects having a base, a retainer, a cover and a disposable cup. The base and retainer engage the cup about the opening of the cup. The cover engages the base over the opening of the cup to minimize the collection of rain and dirt in the cup. A hole is dug in the ground for the insect station. The base is disposed at about grass level and is anchored with stakes into the turf. Openings between the cover and the base permit insects access to the cup. The cover and base include key and keyhole structures such that a certain level of effort is required to remove the cover from the base. The insect station may be used trapping/monitoring, where the retainer is used in the nature of a funnel to maximize the chances that insects will fall into the cup, where water, beer or another attractant can be placed.

  • Patent number: 6840004
Abstract: Fluid, such as pesticide or the like, can be injected into a wall through each of a plurality of fluid-injection plugs that are mounted on the wall. Each plug includes a blind-ended bore and a fluid passage port that fluidically connects the blind-ended bore to the outside of the plug. A bore-closing plug is releasably mounted on each plug and is removed to provide access to the blind-ended bore and is then replaced to close the plug. Fluid, including air-entrained powdered substances, can be injected into the wall by connecting a suitable supply of the fluid to the blind-ended bore after the plug has been removed and forcing the fluid into the blind-ended bore. The fluid will then pass through the fluid passage port out of the bore and thus be injected into the wall.

Abstract: A device for example for the harvesting of farmed bivalves (6) in water (4), the bivalves (6) being attached to and growing on a bivalve net (10) in the water (4). According to the invention, the device, a bivalve harvester (2), has a propulsion device arranged thereto, and is formed of a frame with for example at least one rotatable harvesting roller (90, 92), which is pressed and rotated against the bivalve net (10) and the bivalves (6) during the harvesting of the bivalves (6), so that the bivalves (6) are thereby scraped or milled loose from the bivalve net (10), after which the bivalves (6) are collected and sucked into a catching device enclosing the harvesting roller(s) (90, 92). The bivalves (6) and bivalve bunches (8) are then pumped by means of a pumping device in a downstream direction into a pipe for further transport and collecting onto a vessel or a device placed in the vicinity of the bivalve harvester (2).
