  • Patent number: 11968101
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling a cloud-based IT and security operations application to execute playbooks containing custom code in a manner that mitigates types of risk related to the misuse of cloud-based resources and security of user data. Users use a client application to create and modify playbooks and, upon receiving input to save a playbook, the client application determines whether the playbook includes custom code. If the client application determines that the playbook includes custom code, the client application establishes a connection with a proxy application (also referred to as an “automation broker”) running in the user's own on-premises network and sends a representation of the playbook to the proxy application. The client application further sends to the IT and security operations application an identifier of the playbook and an indication that the playbook (or the custom code portions of the playbook) is stored within the user's on-premises network.

  • Patent number: 11962460
Abstract: An end-to-end service delivery system provides customers representing mobile network and enterprise operators with an online repository for services that are created from virtual network functions, and which are available from multiple service creators and operable across infrastructure underlying the customer's software-defined networking-based mobile network including diverse private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms. The network functions delivery system provides a user interface (UI) exposing a catalog of differentiated services of varying types. When the customer selects a service from the catalog, the service delivery system uses an installation engine to deploy the selected service on the customer's mobile network. The system provides a lifecycle management and orchestration engine that orchestrates the deployed service on an end-to-end basis across domains and network platforms.

  • Patent number: 11962493
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for forwarding data messages at multiple edge gateways of a logical network that process data messages between the logical network and an external network. At a first edge gateway, the method receives a data message, having an external address as a destination address, from the logical network. Based on the destination address, the method applies a default route to the data message that routes the data message to a second edge gateway and specifies a first output interface of the first edge gateway for the data message. After routing the data message, the method applies a stored NAT entry that (i) modifies a source address of the data message to be a public NAT address associated with the first edge gateway and (ii) redirects the modified data message to a second output interface of the first edge gateway instead of the first output interface.

  • Patent number: 11916738
Abstract: Example service processing methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes obtaining a service template set by a first controller. The service template set includes one or more service templates. The first controller sends service template information corresponding to the service template set to a second controller. The first controller receives a first message sent by the second controller. The first message includes first service template information corresponding to a first service template, and the first service template information is determined by the second controller according to a requirement of a first service. The first controller performs provisioning of the first service based on the first service template that is determined based on the first service template information. The second controller determines a corresponding service template according to a service requirement, to trigger the first controller to perform service provisioning based on the service template.

  • Patent number: 11916740
Abstract: A K8S-based service deployment method, apparatus, device, and medium, including: acquiring service data, the service data includes data corresponding to one service; deploying the service on a first target pod according to the service data; deploying a proxy corresponding to the service on the first target pod based on a sidecar manner, so as to use the proxy as a network proxy of the service; and acquiring a preset ConfigMap corresponding to the first target pod, whereby the proxy performs communication between different pods according to the preset ConfigMap, the preset ConfigMap includes routing information. As such, only one service is deployed on one pod, and a separate service does not need to be deployed to string together each independent service on one pod, thus reducing the workload in a service deployment process, and improving resource utilization.

  • Patent number: 11888681
Abstract: A network infrastructure management console configures one or more network switch stacks each comprising a plurality of switches. A monitoring component monitors a current conductor switch of the stack. A user interface (UI) backend component comprises a cache memory and receives a user request to configure the stack. The UI backend component receives from the monitoring component notification of the current conductor and stores in a cache memory segment associated with the current conductor the requested configuration changes. If the current conductor switch of the stack has changed due to a failover event, the configuration changes stored in the cache memory segment associated with the previous current conductor are written to a cache memory segment associated with the new current conductor. A configuration push component receives the configuration changes and transmits the configuration changes to the network switch stack.
