  • Patent number: 11826118
Abstract: A surgical draping system includes an under-draping, an over-draping, and a connecting draping connected by the under-draping and the over-draping. The surgical draping system is used to establish and maintain a surgical corridor to a surgical site or sites on a patient supported by a surgical table. The surgical draping system can accommodate rotation of the patient on the surgical table, such that the sterile surgical corridor is maintained even during such rotation. The sterile surgical corridor extends through an aperture formed in the over-draping, through an enclosed passageway formed through the connecting draping, and through an aperture formed in the under-draping.

  • Patent number: 11819388
Abstract: A dressing for applying pressure to a patient target site is provided. The dressing includes an elastic spacer longitudinally extending between first and second substrates. The elastic spacer is configured to be selectively moved between the first length and a second length. The second length is longer than the first length. A triggering element, when present, selectively maintains the elastic spacer at the second length and selectively prevents the elastic spacer from moving toward the first length. Portions of the triggering element are sequentially removable such that as each portion of the triggering element is removed, the elastic spacer sequentially moves from the second length toward the first length. The sequential movement of the elastic spacer from the second length toward the first length responsively urges the first and second substrates longitudinally toward one another to apply a predetermined amount of longitudinal force to the patient target site.

  • Patent number: 11766361
Abstract: A pressure bandage including an elastic sheet having a first coefficient of elasticity and an adhesive side. The pressure bandage may also include a resilient pad having a second coefficient of elasticity and affixed to the adhesive side of the elastic sheet. The elastic sheet has a first predetermined shape that is configured to be applied to a corresponding anatomical location on the body of a patient. The first coefficient of elasticity and the second coefficient of elasticity are related such that, when the elastic sheet is stretched and adhered to the body of the patient, the resilient pad applies a predetermined amount of pressure to the body of the patient.

  • Patent number: 11759276
Abstract: A drape (600) suitable for covering non-planar surfaces of equipment (1201) is provided. The drape (600) facilitates quick and efficient deployment while ensuring that a sterile field established by a drape portion (601) is not compromised. The drape (600) can include a drape wrapping layer (209) wrapped about a drape portion (601) that is formed initially with two abutting elongated accordion fold stacks (604,605). Non-sterile personnel (801) can handle the drape wrapping layer (209) to position the drape (600) along surfaces of the equipment (1201) without touching the sterile drape portion (601). Sterile personnel can then expand the abutting elongated accordion fold stacks (604,605) to drape the surfaces of the equipment (1201).
