The receiver stores the received data blocks and associated indices in memory, and outputs the received data blocks. When the receiver receives indices instead of data blocks, it accesses the memory to look up and retrieve the associated data blocks, and outputs the retrieved data blocks.

The transmitter transmits a scheduling assignment (“SA”) within the second time period over the second frequency resource. The SA includes information related to the data.
