Abstract: Cleaning and degreasing compositions containing a diutan gum thickener are provided for removing burnt on, polymerized, carbonized food soils with minimum manual effort. The compositions are ready to use compositions and beneficially remain on a treated surface for sufficient time to permit soil penetration without drying out. The compositions can be easily removed with minimal manual effort, such as use of low pressure water applied to the treated surface, and beneficially do not leave residues. Methods for cleaning and degreasing a surface with the compositions are also provided. Thickening systems employing the diutan gum and laponite clays are also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a biodegradable formulation and its use as a surfaces restoring agent, said formulation allows a substantial savings when restoring the existing paint on different surfaces, since it mainly cleans and restores the surface or paint contaminated by the environment, damaged due to the sun and the processes of the different industries, in addition to being friendly to the environment, making it a useful technology in any industrial branch that involves cleaning and restoring large areas. It is worth noting that the modifications to the original formula were made to optimize the results in the different applications and improve its biodegradability.
Abstract: A cleaning agent comprising a polyacrylate terpolymer and a maleic olefin compound may be added to an aqueous system having a metal surface, such as a metal surface of a heat exchanger, in a concentration sufficient to remove fouling deposits from the metal surface in neutral or alkaline conditions. The removal of fouling deposits with the application of the cleaning agent may occur while the system is shut down or in service.
