  • Patent number: 7861327
Abstract: A water conservation system is provided public and domestic lavatories. The system includes a distinctive flush mechanism of two features. One of these features entails a “treatment button” which, upon depression, will cause to emit a fluid compound into urinated wastewater decolorizing and sanitizing it and bringing it back to its original, colorless, odorless condition. Accordingly, potable water is not used for flushing. The urinated wastewater is “treated” and, so, remains through subsequent “treatments” until such time when solid waste is deposited necessitating a conventional flush utilizing the flush lever and usual water use. The savings in volume of water is realized upon considering the number of times the “treatment button” is executed and potable water is “not withdrawn.” The system is revolutionary in that it dispenses with a “necessary flush” each time the toilet is used. Moreover, this novel system addresses the recurring local, and national, drought emergency situations.

  • Patent number: 7856681
Abstract: An integrated drain and fountain device having a stationary fountain nozzle integrated within a lower portion of a sink and disposed to produce a vertical stream of water at a user-defined water pressure. A concentrically located drain to the fountain nozzle is adapted to receive and collect water and is in fluid communication with drain piping. A water supply riser is in fluid communication with a water intake pipe that allows both hot and cold water to enter the water supply riser so that water can be discharged through the fountain nozzle. A controller for the fountain device is located on a counter top so that when a downward force is applied to the controller, the downward force is directed through a linkage including a flexible arm that redirects the downward force to an upward force causing an o-ring stopper of the integrated drain and fountain device to move vertically.

  • Patent number: 7854027
Abstract: A toilet flapper ventilation system includes a water-tight electric fan enclosed in a structure which slows the descent of the flapper section through the water in the toilet tank. A guiding system is used to direct the flapper section's rise and fall, and ensure its water-tight return to the flapper valve. The cusp at the lower end of the flapper section has an angled opening which directs the suction of the fan from the toilet bowl through the water discharge tube. The upper end of the flapper section is connected to a flexible, hollow tube which directs the air flow through a filtration system.

  • Patent number: 7849528
Abstract: A therapeutic tub device for receiving water and a person to allow the person to soak in the water includes a tub being filled with water. The tub receives a person to allow the person to soak in the water. The tub is insulated to maintain a temperature of the water in the tub. The tub includes a bottom wall and a perimeter wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall to define an interior space of the tub. An upper edge of the perimeter wall defines an open top end to permit the water and the person to enter the interior space. A telescopic cover is coupled to the upper edge of the tub. The telescopic cover telescopically extends from a foot end of the tub to a head end of the tub to cover the open top end of the tub.

  • Patent number: 7849527
Abstract: A toilet apparatus is adapted to put the excrement produced each time by the user of the toilet into a bag to form a package of waste, treating the excrement into a state of combustible substance before putting it into a bag. The toilet apparatus is equipped with a long, flexible and folded continuous cylindrical member set in position below a toilet seat as packaging member that is adapted to receive the excrement produced by the user each time and become sealed and transferred downward in the toilet bowl, a processing material for absorbing liquid and semi-solidifying the excrement being arranged at a side of the toilet apparatus, a quantity of the processing material being fed into the packaging member for receiving the excrement each time of production of excrement so as to absorb liquid from the excrement, the packaging member being subsequently sealed at an opening thereof.

  • Patent number: 7827627
Abstract: The present invention provides a two-level flush assembly that can be retrofitted to virtually any toilet with a tank that provides two different water volumes for toilet flushing with a full tank flush for heavy waste and a partial tank flush for light or liquid waste. The flush assembly may use the existing handle and provide tactile feedback for each of the two flush volumes. The two levels of flushing action may be achieved with two independent detent-latch mechanisms, one on each side of the tower, operating on the single toilet flapper. Two independent floats may be utilized, each connected to a release mechanism on either side of the flapper and the water level that supports the float may determine when the flapper is released to close on its seat. The two floats may be set at two different water depths providing a flushing action releasing different volumes of water.
