Abstract: A preformed paint tray with peelable liners is made from a planar tray substrate with upper and lower surfaces and a plurality of stacked liner sheets with peelable adhesive on one surface by positioning the liner sheets adjacent a surface of the substrate, and simultaneously thermoforming the substrate and sheets together to form a substrate having a shaped interior, with the sheets conforming to the shaped interior of the substrate. The sheets are maintained in the thermoformed shape by their adherence to the other sheets and the substrate. If desired, the sheets can include tear tabs to facilitate separation of the top sheet from the other sheets. The tray can be cleaned of residual paint after use by simply peeling away the upper liner sheet.

Abstract: A collapsible container having a base with top and bottom surfaces, a plurality of support members, legs attached to the base and configured to support a second collapsible container placed on a first collapsible container and a plurality of side panels, wherein at least one of the side panels is configured to lock in place in at least one position, wherein at least one of the side panels has both a foldable portion and a fixed portion and wherein the system provides for load bearing members for securing another collapsible container or device on top of a first collapsible container in either the folded or the extended configuration. Some embodiments of the collapsible container include an anchor member configured to anchor the collapsible container to a surface. Methods of stacking and methods of manufacturing the above embodiments are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a flexible tab used to open beer/beverage can ends and food can ends. The tab has a plurality of slots provided in about a middle part of the tab between a nose portion and a lift portion on opposing sides of the tab. The slots combine to form a fulcrum that extends generally transverse to an axis that passes along a length of the tab. The fulcrum allows the lift portion to pivot upwards and downwards in relation to the nose portion. The tab also has a paneled or beaded area adjacent to the slots at about the middle part of the tab. Tooling for the manufacture of the flexible tab is also provided. A method for manufacturing the flexible tab is additionally provided as well.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses a compartmentalized waste and recyclable container 12. The compartmentalized container 12 is comprised of a divided waste container having removable receptacles 24, 26. One receptacle is designed for holding normal waste 26 while the other is designed for holding recyclables 24, such as cans, jars, plastic bottles, etc. The waste container has a sectioned lid 16, 17 providing access to either or both containers. The apparatus 10 also provides means whereby the container can be opened by a foot-operated mechanism 14, 15, relieving the user of having to have a free hand for access. Additionally, the container can incorporate wheels 18 for mobility and apertures 20 within the exterior wall. Each of the interior removable receptacles 24, 26 can also have handles 22 mounted thereto for ease of removing and carrying.

Abstract: A liquid fuel is contained in a fuel container, and the liquid fuel is discharged from a fuel outlet. Further, a water is contained in a water containing pipe provided in the fuel container, and the water is discharged from a water outlet to the outside. Air taken into the fuel container through a dustproof filter attached to a rear lid portion of the fuel container is discharged to the outside from an oxygen source outlet through an oxygen source pipe. The fuel outlet, oxygen source outlet and water outlet are provided in a front outer surface of the front lid portion.

Abstract: A body has a threaded inner surface removably engageable with an open end portion of a beverage bottle. A lid is directly conjoined to the body and is offset below a top surface of the body for minimizing accidental contact therewith during non-use conditions. A mechanism for detaching the lid from the body is included in such a manner that a first perimeter portion of the lid becomes disengaged from an inner perimeter of the aperture while a second perimeter portion of the lid remains directly affixed to the inner perimeter of the aperture and thereby defines a linear fulcrum axis about which the lid can be repeatedly articulated during operating conditions. The lid is selectively articulated thereafter by placing a user's lips against the detaching mechanism so that the user may quickly and readily pivot the detaching mechanism without using the user's hands.

Abstract: This invention refers to a glued or heat-sealed cap for resealing test tubes for clinical analyses which can be easily perforated and permits the application of a second cap.

Abstract: The claimed invention is a novel container system that adds utility and convenience for the consumer “on-the-go”. The container system claimed includes a main tray member that holds food product (e.g. carrots), and lid member that is configured so that, when it is inverted, it acts as a secondary tray member that holds food product (e.g. condiment) and is further attachable to the rim of the tray member via an interference fit or snap-fit grip fit. The resulting utility is that the consumer is able to hold the main tray member with one hand or have held the main tray member (e.g. in a recess in an automobile consol) and access the contents of both trays with a free hand.

Abstract: A molded container and closure latch mechanism include a top portion and bottom portion which are connected by a hinge which biases the top away from the bottom unless the latch mechanism is engaged. The latch mechanism is pivotally connected to the top. It engages a molded contoured segment on the bottom to secure the container in a closed position. Anomalies on the top surface of the latch mechanism provide a convenience to the user in locating pressure points for opening and closing the container. A separator can be used internal to the container to create two separate compartments. In one adaptation the interior surface can include raised protrusions which permit contents such as a soap bar to be raised off from the surface. Other modifications too the interior can be effected to accommodate a wide variety of products. The containers can be provided in a grouping with relative dimensions suitable to store a wide variety of personal effects.

Abstract: A container for transporting and storing hazardous materials such as Chlorine includes a cylindrical body having end caps. The end caps are welded to the body to form a pressure vessel. The end caps have a peripheral edge that is recessed with respect to the ends of the body to protect the weld against damage from impact. The configuration of the juxtaposed components forms a lap joint that can be affixed together by a fillet weld.

Abstract: A package includes a container having a neck finish with at least one left-hand external thread segment, a fitment having at least one left-hand internal thread segment for threaded receipt over the container neck finish and at least one right-hand external thread segment, a closure having at least one right-hand internal thread segment for removable receipt over the fitment, and a handle attached to the container by the fitment. The container neck finish preferably has a transfer ring, and the handle preferably has a collar received over the transfer ring and held in place by the fitment. The transfer ring and the collar preferably have opposed flats to prevent rotation of the handle with respect to the transfer ring. The collar and the fitment preferably have opposed cam lugs that permit threading of the fitment onto the container neck finish over the collar but prevent unthreading of the fitment from the neck finish so that the fitment and handle are permanently attached to the container neck finish.

Abstract: A container assembly includes a container that has an externally threaded finish portion as well as retention structure for preventing upward movement of a tamper evident band. The container assembly further includes a closure having a body portion of a base and an internally threaded downwardly depending sidewall portion that is sized and shaped to screw onto the finish portion of the container. The closure further includes a tamper evident band that is frangibly connected to the sidewall portion and that includes a main band portion and a J-hook retention member. The J-hook retention member includes a plurality of pleated retaining flaps, each of which has upper portion for engaging the retention structure.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrical box extension that includes an extending member for switch and/or plug mounting having one or more fastening brackets, one or more base fastening brackets and one or more fasteners that together with optional contact points provide for mechanical and electrical connectivity between the extending member and its associated electrical box and provide sufficient mechanical resistance to support the adjustable elevation of the elevating member thereby supporting a flush surface for surface mounted sockets, switches and their associated plates.

Abstract: The cover of the container has the hollow (2) with an elliptical outline pointed towards the inside of the container; the hollow has the spherical projection (3), pointed upwards, and the projection has the cylindrical cavity (4) with the opening housing the valve head. The valve head has the form of a circular plate and has an edge with a triangular outline; cooperating with the gasket of the valve. The head valve is installed loosely in the opening by means of the sleeve ending with the flange with distancing projections in the form of radial ribs.

Abstract: A unitary, removable, transportation ring for maintaining the closure of a covered container, such as a cylindrical paint can, snaps into place and securely maintains a lid on the container even in an environment of high pressure within the container. The ring is responsively operable in the presence of elevated and extreme pressures within the container to improve the engagement of the ring with the container, and to improve the engagement of the lid with the container, each in order to maintain the cover tightly sealed over the top opening of the container. An annular flange depends from the inner radial margin of the body of the ring and abuts the lid or cover of the container to maintain the engagement of the lid with the container.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bottle cap 100 that is detachably assembled with an adjacent portion 2 of an opening of a bottle 1, and the bottle with the same. The bottle cap 100 is comprised of a circumferential portion 10 that is shaped to wrap up an outer surface of the adjacent portion 2 of the opening therein; a cap portion 20 that closes an upper side of the circumferential portion 10; a plurality of tamper indication portions 30 respectively extended from a central area of the circumferential portion 10 to a lower end thereof; a bending portion 40 that connects upper ends of the respective tamper indication portions 30 in a line; an opening piece portion 50 comprised of the plurality of tamper indication portions 30 and the bending portion 40; and a recess portion 70 so formed on an inner surface of the circumferential portion 10 as to prevent separation.

Abstract: A container includes a container base and a lid interconnected by a hinge and being of one-piece integrally molded plastic construction. The container base is of generally rectangular outline having a back wall to which the hinge is connected, a front wall, opposite sidewalls and an open end. The front wall is connected to the back wall opposite the open end by a continuously curving end wall so that the front wall, the back wall and the continuously curving end wall form a continuous surface for application of a label to the front wall, the back wall and the continuously curving end wall. The sidewalls have flat coplanar edges opposite the open end to permit the container to be stood on end with the open end facing upwardly. The container preferably includes a child-resistant latch having a first latch element on the lid opposite the hinge and a second latch element on the front wall of the container ban adjacent to the open end and opposite the hinge.

Abstract: A bail grip for a pivotal bail of a bucket in which the bail has a pair of bail legs and a central hook with an inverted shape. The bail grip comprises an arcuate body that is installed onto the upper ends of the bail legs with the arc of the bail grip body conforming to a common curve or arc of the upper ends of the bail legs. When in place, the bail grip body does not completely close off a recess formed by the hook. Instead, a rear side of the bail grip body has a notch adjacent the recess such that a locking pin used on a wall bracket from which the bucket is hung is still able to pass downwardly through the recess and along the notch formed in the rear side of the bail grip body.
