Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for reducing notifications on a user device to mitigate a user's injury associated with repetitive stress of using the user device. One or more notifications associated with the user device are received. A notification profile associated with the user is generated based on the received one or more notifications. In response to a query, position data and vital sign data associated with the user is received. The received position data and vital sign data associated with the user is analyzed and a health score associated with the user is calculated based on analyzed position data and vital sign data. In response to determining the health score deviates from a threshold range, the generated notification profile associated with the user is modified. One or more notifications alerts are communicated to the user based on the modified notification profile.

Abstract: A menu management method is performed at a computing device, the method comprising: sending a request for accessing a menu management interface at a social networking platform server; and customizing, through the menu management interface, a user menu associated with the identifier of an official account by obtaining an interface address corresponding to the menu management interface; generating a management interface invoking request carrying the interface address and sending the management interface invoking request to the social networking platform server; receiving the management interface and changing at least one menu item of the user menu in accordance with the official account's definition; and returning the customized user menu to the social networking platform server, which forwards the customized user menu to a plurality of user accounts that have subscribed to the official account and enable them to exchange information with the official account through the customized user menu.

Abstract: An orientation of an application user interface (e.g., text and/or content) on a display of a device may be determined by an orientation of the device relative to gravity. In situations where the orientation of the device relative to gravity does not provide a confident or accurate orientation for the application user interface, orientation of the application user interface may be determined from face orientation data. Face orientation data may be obtained from a face detection process operating on images of the user captured during a facial recognition process or during an attention detection process.

Abstract: A steering wheel according to the present invention for showing a plural driving information comprises: a display device including a screen, an operation device for outputting an operation instruction and a host. The host comprises an interface generating device connected to a storage unit, and connects to an Electronic Control Unit of a vehicle to obtain driving information. After receiving the driving information and the operation instruction input by the user through an operation device, the interface generating device divides the driving information into a plural shown information and hidden information, the shown information is added to a custom page transmitted to the display device, so that the screen shows the custom page and selected driving information.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for dynamically restructuring intelligent document data in a user interface to perform a specified task. An intelligent document is classified and segmented into sections. The sections are classified and stored in memory. A first window is generated in a user interface that displays the classified sections. A second window comprises a plurality of section identifiers that are selectable by a user to toggle visibility status of corresponding classified sections in the first window. The plurality of section identifiers are responsive to user input to reorder the sections displayed in the first window. The user selected visibility status and section order are stored in a document-display template by section types of the selected sections. The display template is utilized to display other intelligent documents according to the visibility status and section order stored in the document-display template by the section types.

Abstract: Provided is a method of notifying a schedule by using a mobile terminal, the method including obtaining schedule information indicating a schedule of a user; generating at least one schedule tag based on time information comprised in the schedule information of the user; displaying a clock graphical user interface (GUI) on a screen of the mobile terminal; displaying the schedule tag on a periphery of the displayed clock GUI, based on the time information corresponding to the schedule tag; and changing and displaying an attribute of the displayed schedule tag, according to the time information corresponding to the displayed schedule tag, and current time.

Abstract: Techniques to control arrangement of items in a user interface is described. In one or more implementations, intuitive rearrangement of items in a user interface is caused by a computing device. A priority ordering of items, one to another, is determined that is specified for display of the items in a first layout in a user interface of the computing device. The items are assigned into respective ones of a plurality of groups that together compose one or more linear arrangements of the groups. Arrangement of the items is controlled by the computing device for display in a second layout in the user interface that is different from the first layout by an amount of display area available in the user interface along one or more dimensions.

Abstract: A method prepares data for subsequent analysis. The method displays a user interface having a data flow pane, including a flow diagram having a plurality of nodes. Each node specifies one or more operations. The method receives user input to select an existing node in the flow diagram, receives user input to insert a new node into the flow diagram, and receives user input to select a first set of two or more columns of data values from a data set corresponding to the existing node. The method pivots the selected columns to form a modified data set having new rows and new columns. The user selects two or more additional columns, and the method pivots on the additional columns, resulting in a second new column added to the modified data set. Each data value from the additional columns is added to the second new column in a respective row.

Abstract: An HVAC controller operable in an occupied mode and an unoccupied mode and includes a touch-responsive display. The controller displays an informational region having non-interactive user interface elements, a control region having interactive user-interface elements and an override region having an occupied status display and an occupancy override control having an override state and a non-override state. The visual properties of the variable opacity region is manipulated to guide the user during use of the HVAC controller.

An example method includes receiving an inspect command indicative of a request to perform an inspect action on the interface element viewable in the group-based communication platform interface, wherein the request was provided by a user using a client device. The example method further includes generating an element definition payload based on the inspect command. The example method further includes generating an inspect action response message comprising the element definition payload. The example method further includes generating an ephemeral element definition message based on the inspect action response message. Subsequently, the example method includes transmitting the ephemeral element definition message to the client device.

Abstract: An enhanced copy-and-paste function copies multiple logical and physical software objects from a source computing environment to a distinct target computing environment. A physical object can be any software-data entity, such as a document, a container, a database, or a disk image. A logical object contains a hierarchy of two or more physical or logical objects. Objects are copied to a logical copy clipboard, where they may be assembled into logical objects. Each physical object is then transferred one at a time to a conventional physical clipboard, transmitted to a corresponding physical clipboard in a corresponding target environment, and then forwarded to a logical paste clipboard, where the original logical objects are reconstructed and pasted into the target environment. Each logical object may be pasted into multiple target environments and may contain physical objects copied from multiple source environments. Multiple logical objects may contain the same physical object.

Abstract: Content subject matter areas of interest to a user viewing a social network activity stream are determined using iterative eye-gaze analysis to determine content at locations viewed by the user within the social network activity stream, and further using image and text analysis of the viewed content based upon frequencies of occurrence of words and image types within the viewed content. Portions of new content appearing in the social network activity stream determined to include the content subject matter areas of interest to the user are emphasized to attract the user's attention.

Abstract: A system and method for provisioning communications services. A remote device controlled by a user is linked with a provisioning system. A verbal selection of a menu associated with a library is received for performing one or more actions within the provisioning system. One or more verbal commands associated with the menu are received. A determination is made of an action within the library associated with the one or more verbal commands. The action associated with the one or more verbal commands is performed in the provisioning system to provision the communications services.

Abstract: A controller of a display control device is configured to display particular button images on a display, and determine whether setting in device has been set in response to receiving, from a user interface, a particular selection signal to identify a communication button image, which is one of the particular button images displayed on the display. When it is determined that the setting information has been set, the controller obtains the intensity of the radio wave detected by the detector and displays a communication-related screen corresponding to the obtained intensity of the radio wave. When it is determined that the setting information has not been set, the controller displays a particular setting screen on the display.

Abstract: A dual-screen user device and methods for revealing a combination of selected desktops and applications on single and dual screens are disclosed. Desktops and applications can be shifted between screens by user gestures, and/or moved off of the screens and therefore hidden. Hidden desktops and screens can be re-displayed by other gestures. The desktops and applications are arranged in a window stack that represents a logical order of the desktops and applications providing a user with an intuitive ability to manage multiple applications/desktops running simultaneously. One embodiment provides an annunciator window extending across both screens in a dual screen configuration. The annunciator window provides alerts, notifications, and statuses of the device in an increased area thereby enhancing viewability of the information in the window. The annunciator window can be expanded over a selected screen to view full contents of the window without having to minimize or close running applications.

The collection device performing the structured collection procedure has program instructions that when executed by a processor causes the processor to initiate automatically a schedule of events of the structured collection procedure upon one or more entry criterions being met at some unknown time, store in memory patient data collected in accordance to the schedule of events, end automatically the structured collection procedure upon one or more exit criterions being met at some unknown time, and mark/indicate the structured collection procedure as completed if no exception occurred during performance of an event in the schedule of events.

Abstract: A home automation (HA) system may include a cloud server, HA operation devices within a senior living facility, and HA user interface devices for respective users within the senior living facility. Each HA user interface device may include a user input device, a display defining a user interface (UI), and a controller. The HA system may include HA hub devices within the senior living facility to provide communications for the cloud server, the HA user interface devices, and the HA operation devices. The controller may send user interaction data to the cloud server and operate the UI according to a user cognitive level. The cloud server may be configured to determine the user cognitive level based upon the user interaction data received from a given HA user interface device, and send the user cognitive level to the given HA user interface device.
