Abstract: A system includes an inboard tiltrotor subsystem and an outboard tiltrotor subsystem. The inboard tiltrotor subsystem includes an inboard pylon, an inboard tiltrotor, and a single and non-redundant drivetrain. The outboard tiltrotor subsystem includes an outboard pylon that is coupled to a wing and an outboard tiltrotor. The outboard tiltrotor has a range of motion and is coupled to the wing via the outboard pylon, such that the outboard tiltrotor is aft of the wing. The outboard tiltrotor subsystem further includes a redundant drivetrain (which has a plurality of motors and a plurality of motor controllers) that drives one or more blades and the one or more blades.
Abstract: The disclosed invention comprises a spring-based launch device, and method of using the device within a system for launching an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) using constant torque springs to pull a carriage to accelerate a UAV to the necessary launch speed. A torque frame holds multiple constant torque springs attached to an adjustable power system, enabling a selectable number of springs to connect to a spool. The adjustable power system enables the launch speed of the UAV to vary based on its launch requirements. The spool is used to move a carriage at constant acceleration. The carriage holds the UAV and is pulled along rails until it hits a stop spring system, which stops the carriage, causing the aircraft to be launched off the carriage. Re-tensioning of the system occurs through a retraction mechanism which pulls the carriage back to a spring box, where it is positioned in tensioned configuration.
Abstract: A vibrating fishing lure including a vibrating mechanism adapted to be removably inserted within the body of the fishing lure. The vibrating mechanism is adapted to vibrate at chosen frequencies, patterns, and intensities depending on the water conditions present when in use and the type of fish desired to be caught. The vibrating mechanism can be controlled manually or by a remote control device which may incorporate computer applications thereon. The vibrating fishing lure and the remote control device may be used in conjunction with a fishing rod.
Abstract: A method of navigating an UAV over water with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) function. The UAV having a plurality of lift propellers; a cabin engaged with a plurality of lift propellers; a water propulsion system engaged with the cabin to push the cabin in a forward direction when the cabin is at least partially immersed in water; at least one water inlet engaged with the water propulsion system; the cabin is a cargo hold or a passenger cabin. The UAV provided by the disclosure can realize vertical takeoff and landing in the water area, and fly, drive and navigate freely in the whole area.
Abstract: The present invention includes an apparatus for preventing aircraft rollover upon a water landing comprising: a deployable first and/or second boom affixed by a first end to the aircraft and capable of deployment substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the aircraft; and a first and/or second air bladder attached to a second end of the first and/or second boom, wherein the first and/or second air bladders are configured to inflate when an aircraft lands in the water, wherein deployment of the first and second boom and air bladder prevents aircraft rollover upon water landing; or a deployable keel affixed by a first end to the aircraft and capable of deployment substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis and opposite a rotor of the aircraft upon a water landing, wherein the keel is sized to prevent aircraft rollover upon deployment; or both.

A release clip may be attached to the back line attachment of the center bar for providing temporary attachment to a fishing line and a downrigger stacker clip may be connected to the front line attachment of the center bar for attachment to a downrigger line. The spreader bar and the center bar may form a cross shape.

Abstract: Common practices in fishing makes it difficult for people to notice when a fish strikes. To address these and other problems associated with common practices in fishing, a fish alert tool can be configured to generate an alert when a fish strikes. The fish alert tool can include a holder for a fishing pole and a spike that is connected to the holder and supports the holder from the ground. The fish alert tool can also include an alarm that generates the alert when the fish strike is detected.
Abstract: A method is provided. An airship is maneuvered to a desired location and oriented with the thruster such that ambient wind is traveling in a direction that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage. The airflow from the ambient wind is straightened with the flow straightener to generate a substantially laminar flow. The turbine is engaged with the airflow generated by the ambient wind to generate electricity, and the electricity generated by the turbine is rectified with the rectifier and stored in the storage array.

Abstract: A fishing line threader passes a fishing line through guide rings of fishing line guides installed in a fishing rod. The fishing line threader is composed of a single metallic wire material and has a fishing line pinching portion, an elastic portion and a leading end portion. First and second pinching portions of the fishing line pinching portion connect with each other at a first end portion and form an annular shape to fit and support the fishing line. The elastic portion forms a rhombus shape and has first and second elastic portions respectively extending from the first and second pinching portions. First and second leading end portions of the leading end portion extend respectively from the first and second elastic portions to a second end portion and are adjacent to each other. The first and second leading end portions are joined to each other by a joining portion.
