Abstract: The hamburger holder comprised a main body, a lift, and a stand. The hamburger holder may hold a sandwich and may prevent condiments and toppings from falling out of the sandwich as the sandwich is eaten. The sandwich may be a hamburger, the condiments may be mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and barbecue sauce, and the toppings may be lettuce, tomato, pickles, bacon, cheese, and onions. The main body may hold the sandwich together while the sandwich is eaten. The left may push the sandwich out of the main body to expose more of the sandwich for consumption. The stand may be a base to allow the main body to stand freely when the main body is n not being held. The main body, the lift, and the stand may be decoupled from each other for cleaning.

Abstract: A foldable carton is provided. The carton includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, end panels, each foldably connected to the edges of the bottom panel. The carton further includes front end flap panels connected to the lateral ends of the front panel and rear end flap panels connected to the lateral ends of the rear panel. Each front end flap panel includes a connecting end section and a triangular fold flap connected to the connected end section. The triangular fold flap is connected to a side edge of the adjacent end panel by a hinged fold line. The connecting end section is secured to the front panel in an overlying arrangement and the triangular fold flap is configured to about the hinged fold line to allow the front panel to freely move between a fully upright position and a partially upright position.

Abstract: A container is formed from a blank that has a first side and a second side. The first side can have one or more graphics. The container can include a base portion forming an enclosure and first and second overlap panels that collectively form a cover panel that can enclose the enclosure. Methods of constructing the container include forming the cover panel by securing the first and second overlap panels together.

Abstract: A carrier for holding one or more products. The carrier can comprise a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carrier, the plurality of panels comprising at least a front panel and a side panel. A central panel can at least partially divide the interior of the carrier into a front portion and a back portion. The side panel can extend at least partially from the front panel to the central panel. A lid can at least partially close a top of the carrier.

Abstract: A self-sealing container is formed from a blank comprising panels and end flaps connected along fold lines with the panels and the end flaps being foldable along the fold lines to form the container. The container includes a securing feature that seals the container in a closed position, with the securing feature providing a visual indication of opening if the container is opened from the closed position. After the container is opened, the securing feature provides a closure feature that allows the container to be closed.

Abstract: A self-sealing container is formed from a blank comprising panels and end flaps connected along fold lines with the panels and the end flaps being foldable along the fold lines to form the container. The container includes a securing feature that seals the container in a closed position, with the securing feature providing a visual indication of opening if the container is opened from the closed position. After the container is opened, the securing feature provides a closure feature that allows the container to be closed.

Abstract: In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a twisted package can be configured to be flat in a collapsed state having one or more fold lines that are straight. At least a portion of the twisted package can be twisted in the formed state such that the one or more fold lines are bent in the formed state and/or such that a body of the twisted package is twisted in a formed state. Any suitable structure to form a twisted package is contemplated herein.

Abstract: There is described a pre-creased sheet packaging material for forming a sealed package comprising: a plurality of longitudinal crease lines, which extend along a longitudinal direction; a plurality of transversal crease lines, which extend along a transversal direction; at least one first additional crease line, which extends along a further direction, which is slanted with respect to longitudinal direction and transversal direction; a first joining point, at which longitudinal crease line and a transversal crease line join with respect to one another; and at least one first area, which is bounded by longitudinal crease line, transversal crease line and additional crease line; further direction being incident to first longitudinal crease line and to first transversal crease line in first joining point; at least one of first longitudinal crease line, first transversal crease line and first additional crease line being interrupted at first joining point.

Abstract: A box closure device having a first piece, a second piece, and a hub separating the first piece and second piece is provided. The first piece can have one or more engagement portions. The second piece can extend in both directions relative to the hub and is spaced from the first piece a selected amount allowing for box flaps to fit between the top piece and bottom piece. The second piece can have a blade to assist in positioning the closure device between the interior ends of two flaps. The second piece can also have a glide. In use, the user or a machine can engage the engagement portion(s) and twist the closure device so that the bottom piece is no longer aligned with a gap between the flaps thereby locking the flaps in a closed position. Lobes can be located on the ends of the second piece.

Abstract: A box suitable for the packaging of a consumer product is formed by helically wrapping an elongated continuous strip of material around a mandrel to form a main body with a plurality of bands. In one embodiment, adjacent bands partially overlie one another to form a multi-paneled main body with an open top end and an open bottom end. An adhesive is disposed within the region of contact between adjacent bands to retain the shape of the main body. First and second sets of slots are formed in the main body to create flaps dimensioned to selectively enclose the open top and bottom ends, respectively. To define the flaps and promote pivotal articulation, the main body is also preferably provided with score lines. By adjusting the configuration of the mandrel, a customized box can be constructed that is sized to receive a consumer product with limited wasted space.

Abstract: A container includes a blank having a plurality of panels foldably connected to one another and erected about an interior space, and a plurality of top flaps foldably connected to the plurality of panels to enclose a top end of the interior space, and a plurality of bottom flaps wherein each of the bottom flaps is foldably connected to a corresponding panel of plurality of panels to enclose a bottom end of the interior space. The blank includes a line of weakness pattern configured to allow a user to break the top flaps from a closed configuration enclosing the interior space to an open configuration allowing access to the interior space.

Abstract: A temperature insulated packaging system includes a container having interior surface bounding an interior volume and a liner disposed within the interior volume and at least partially bounding a compartment configured to receive an item for temperature insulated shipping. The liner includes a first sleeve made of cellulose material and at least partially bounds a channel. The first sleeve has an outside wall disposed adjacent to the container and an opposing inside wall disposed adjacent to the compartment configured to receive the item for shipping, the channel being disposed between the inside wall and the outside wall. At least one insulation sheet is disposed within the channel of the first sleeve, the at least one insulation sheet being made of a cellulose material and having a plurality of recesses formed thereon.

Abstract: A leak proof container and a method of forming the container from a blank. The blank includes a bottom panel, first and second side panels connected to the bottom panel at opposing lateral edges, and first and second end portions located at opposing longitudinal ends of the blank. Each end portion includes an inner end panel connected to the bottom panel, an outer end panel connected to the inner end panel, and first and second corner panels forming gussets connected to a respective one of the first and second side panels and connected to the inner end panel. An adhesive area is located on one side of the blank and comprises at least a portion on each of the outer end panel and the inner end panel. The adhesive area adheres the gussets to the inner end panel and to the outer end panel.

Abstract: A locking arrangement for a container that has a lid pivotally attached with a base includes a flap that is pivotally attached at a first end thereof to the lid at a peripheral edge of the lid. The flap has a tab projecting laterally away from a second end of the flap. A frangible portion of the lid is defined by a perforation that terminates to encompass the first end of the flap. A slot is formed through an upwardly-projecting peripheral wall of a base of the container. As such, with the lid of the container moving towards a closed position, and with the tab in a folded position, the flap and tab are inserted through the slot of the peripheral wall of the base, thereafter as the tab clears the slot the resilient material urges the tab into an expanded position to lock the container.

Abstract: A container can include a container portion comprising a plurality of walls and a first panel pivotably coupled to the container portion and configured to pivot between a first position where the first panel is arranged outside of the container portion and a second position where the first panel is arranged inside the container portion. The container can further include a tubular polymeric sleeve disposed around the first panel and covering a first surface of the first panel and a second surface on the opposite side of the first panel from the first surface, where the polymeric sleeve is unsecured to the first panel.

Abstract: A unique pizza box apparatus and methods of forming and using said pizza box are disclosed. The pizza box is formed with an additional plate pocket for receiving plates therein. The pocket is connected to an inside surface of the pizza box lid and expands a distance less than that of the depth of the pizza box. On the pizza box lid is a cut or perforated plate pocket lid with a living hinge on one end and a lid tab on a substantially opposite end for grabbing and rotatably opening the plate pocket lid with respect to the pizza box lid. A pizza bumper may further be included within the box to ensure separation between a base of the plate pocket and a pizza once the pizza is placed within the box. Napkins and/or further utensils may also be placed within the plate pocket if so desired.

Abstract: A fastener is configured to fix a pair of opposing flaps of a box in a closed state. The fastener includes a receiving part, a pressing part opposing the receiving part, a linking part interposed between the receiving part and the pressing part, spaces on both sides of the linking part between the receiving part and the pressing part constituting insertion areas into which the flaps of the box are to be inserted, and a cutter part on the receiving part, the pressing part, or the linking part.

Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods relate to improved cases for securely storing and shipping products. A case can include a back panel, an upper foldable section, and a lower foldable section. Each of the features of the case can be manufactured on a single sheet of material. The upper and lower foldable sections include panels having apertures for holding the top and bottom of a product, respectively. The case is foldable into a closed configuration such that a lower holder panel, a lower front panel, and a bottom panel form a lower box configured to hold the bottom of the first product, and an upper holder panel, an upper front panel, and a top panel form an upper box configured to hold the top of the first product.

Abstract: An improved shipping article includes a single piece of substantially planar material with parallel scores formed therein thereby defining substantially planar sections of the shipping article, the planar sections of the shipping article defining, when the piece of substantially planar material is folded along the parallel scores, a first pair of opposing, substantially parallel, spaced-apart sides, a second pair of opposing, substantially parallel, spaced-apart sides that are substantially perpendicular to the first pair of sides, and a pair of dividing walls located adjacent each other and dividing a compartment formed by the first and second pairs of sides into two sub-compartments. A top extension is sized and shaped to fold down to form a top of one of the sub-compartments. Each of the top extensions includes a hole therein sized to receive a human finger or thumb to facilitate lifting, and shelves form sub-sub-compartments.
