Abstract: A plastic bottle-shaped container comprises a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion includes a neck area having a neck wall extending toward and then away from the center of the container when proceeding along its length to form a neck grip to allow a user to grasp the container. The bottom portion, which extends from the top portion, has a front wall, a back wall and side walls. Each side wall of the bottom portion has a recess. The recesses of the side walls together define a side grip to allow the user to grasp the container at the side walls.

Abstract: A hollow stackable injection-molded product includes a generally conically contoured sidewall having a plurality of longitudinal folds of alternating ridges and furrows. Each fold includes a first side strip laterally extending from the top of a first ridge to the bottom of a first furrow and a second side strip laterally extending from the bottom of the first furrow to the top of a second ridge next to the first ridge. Over most of the longitudinal extent of the sidewall, at least a predominant portion of each of the second side strips has an outward approximately conic-section lateral curvature to thereby provide a better fit between like products of such configuration when stacked inside one another and to thereby further reduce their stacking height. The lateral curvature of each second side strip is approximately circular.

Abstract: A panel connector having a housing 11 which includes a set of first spring-loaded arms 12 extending backward and outside from the left and right side surfaces 11a and a set of second spring-loaded arms 13 extending backward and outside from the top and bottom surfaces 11b. A set of lugs 14 is provided on the side surfaces 11a and 11b at the rear of housing 11. The first and second spring-loaded arms 12 and 13 exert an outward pressure on the sides of a panel opening. The first spring-loaded arms 12 have steps 12c facing backward, which prevent the housing 11 from being pulled out and the second spring-loaded arms 13 have depressions formed in pressure surface sections 13b, which limit movement of housing 11 in and out of the direction of insertion into a panel.

Abstract: A retractable handle assembly for a suitcase includes a base disposed on an upper portion of the suitcase, an actuating device, a cover element and a handle. An outer tube is disposed on each side of the suitcase and extends between the base and the bottom of the suitcase with an inner tube retractably received in each of the outer tubes. Each of the inner tubes has a first end extending through the base and cover element and is attached to the handle. A resilient element is received in one of the inner tubes and has a protrusion extending radially through the cover element. The actuating device has a sliding element which is connected by a spring to a biasing portion. One end of the sliding portion is inserted into the cover element and an inner tube. One end of the biasing portion contacts the protrusion of the resilient element. When the actuating device is slid, it pushes the protrusion from the cover element and withdraws the end of the sliding portion from the cover element, freeing the inner tubes.

Abstract: A baby feeding bottle of the disposable bag liner type comprising a hollow open ended rigid tubular body (1) to receive a bag (2) having an open top end which can be folded over the top rim of the tubular body. A feeding teat (7) having an outwardly extending annular flange engages and rests on the portion of the bag (2) folded over the top rim of the tubular body (1). A teat retaining ring (3) is fitted to the tubular body (1) to retain the teat (7) and the folded over bag portion (2) thereon in sealing engagement therewith and a removable base (5) is mounted in the open bottom end of the rigid tubular body (1). A removable base (5) is mounted in the tubular body (1) by means (14,17) which allow the base (5) to be fixedly mounted in the tubular body (1) in a plurality of different positions along the length thereof whereby the base is not movable from its selected position when an axial pressure is applied thereto.

Abstract: A garment display package and method is provided. The package includes a web folded to define a bottom wall and spaced apart front and back walls for locating a garment therebetween. The bottom, front, and back walls collectively form a garment receiving opening having a width greater than its height. A hanger is located on a widthwise dimension of the back wall for hanging the package from a supporting structure for display.

Abstract: In combination with a cylindrical housing, a closure cap including a transverse end wall and cylindrical shell defining a bore and open end. A sealing device arranged between the bore and open end has an outer cylindrical sealing surface mating with an inner cylindrical sealing surface on the housing. A coupling device is arranged between the closure cap and cylindrical housing and includes three spiral webs on the inner surface of the closure cap shell between a first and second transverse plane. The first plane is remote from the end wall and the second plane is close to the end wall, each web having respective ends in the first and second plane, the ends in the first plane being circumferentially spaced from the ends in the second plane by an angle of less than 120 degrees. Three guide lugs radially extend from the cylindrical housing for engagement with the webs, the guide lugs being circumferentially spaced from each other by an angle of about 120 degrees.

Abstract: A "H" partition and blank therefor to divide the products in a carton, particularly a display carton having a window. The partition includes a window which facilitates visual and physical access through the window in the display case to products in the rear of the carton, particularly when access is through the front of the carton.

Abstract: The trimming for bags and suitcases includes a protective panel made of padded material suitable to be applied to the front face of the bags and lies longitudinally to the front face, so as to partially follow its border; at least one slit is formed on the protective panel and constitutes the opening of a compartment for accommodating a partially extractable card on which appropriate identification data can be written.

Abstract: The carton has a hinged top with a depending flange in the front. A panel is folded up against the inside of the depending flange. The middle of the folded up panel has an arcurate nose and the edges are adhered to the depending flange, causing the nose to bulge out slightly from the depending flange. This nose engages a slot on the front panel of the carton to lock the top in place.

Abstract: A package particularly useful for either conventional oven or microwave heating of refrigerated or frozen foodstuffs includes a lower paperboard tray, an upper frangible paperboard cover, and an intermediate compartmentalized plastic food tray. The bottom of the plastic tray food compartments rest on the tray bottom. The plastic tray side edges are clamped between laterally extending side flanges on the lower tray and edges of the top cover. The top cover is removed by ripping along tear lines. After consumption of the food, the plastic tray is readily removed to thereby facilitate separation for recycling. The package construction also facilitates the use of relatively thin plastic for forming the compartmentalized plastic tray because the weight of the foodstuffs in the plastic tray components is partially borne by the lower tray.

Abstract: A piece of luggage in the form of a suitcase of a rectangular configuration having a flat top, a flat bottom and flat sides. Four wheels are mounted at the corners of the bottom. Elongated rigid arcuate members are mounted on the corners of the suitcase and each extends from the top of the suitcase to a plane beyond the bottom of the suitcase to protect the wheels. The top of the suitcase is formed of a soft fabric material with a zippered portion to permit access to the interior of the suitcase. A pull strap and a carrying handle are provided. A rigid plastic tray is mounted inside the suitcase and engages the bottom and the sides to provide strength and rigidity to the suitcase.

Abstract: A gasketless enclosure (10) for housing outdoor electrical equipment. The enclosure includes a box (12) having a base (14) and upwardly extending, sidewalls (16A-16D). The walls define an open, upper face, over which fits a cover (18). A closure mechanism (28) includes an upwardly projecting lip (30) formed at the upper end of the sidewalls and extending around the circumference of the box, and a channel (32) formed in the abutting face (34) of the cover and sized to receive the lip. To help prevent moisture from seeping into the interior of the box and harming the equipment housed therein, gutters (42, 44) are formed in the abutting surfaces of the box and the cover. The gutter (44) formed in the box is formed outwardly of the lip, and the gutter (46) formed in the cover is formed outwardly of the channel. The gutter in the cover sits over the gutter in the box when the cover is in place.

Abstract: A paperboard carton blank is disclosed which includes first and second panels having side walls connected thereto by scored fold lines formed between a respective side wall and a respective edge the panel, with one of the side walls of the first panel and one of the side walls of the second panel being congruent and at least one predetermined edge of the second panel being devoid of a side wall. A sealing flap is provided which extends a predetermined distance from a predetermined edge of one of the side walls of the first panel with the predetermined edge of the side wall being that edge which extends adjacent to the predetermined edge of the second panel of a carton formed from the blank. An opening means is also provided which is defined by the predetermined edge of the second panel and regions of weakness formed in the second panel which extend from the predetermined edge of the second panel for permitting access to the inside of the formed carton.
