Abstract: A packaging apparatus for providing protection against forces directed to an item (or items) is disclosed. The packaging apparatus designed to protect the item during, for example, transport of the item subject to sudden movement by a transportation vehicle (carrying the item) that may cause other items to contact the item. The packaging apparatus may include one or more force bearing features, each of which may include a fill material positioned to provide a counterforce against a force (or forces) in a direction toward the item. The packaging apparatus is also suitable for protecting cylindrical objects (such as drums) during transport. In this regard, several force bearing features disposed on opposing sides of a base member. Further, a strap can be secured to the transport vehicle to combine to provide additional force acting against unwanted movement of the items.

Abstract: A golf ball storing/releasing device is formed of a single length of rod having a modulus of elasticity and bent to form a golf-ball-supporting track. The track having back and front sections. Each section including first and second spaced-apart portions, the first portions of the back and front sections forming a first side portion and the second portions of the back and front sections forming a second side portion. The spaced-apart portions all being dimensioned less than the diameter of a golf ball. The first and second side portions converging toward one another from the turnaround sections to a ball-entry juncture section.

Abstract: A cap for a container, wherein the cap is adapted to be positioned across the mouth of a container, the cap comprising: an upper portion that lies across the mouth of a container; a sealed compartment for storing contents to be added to the container interior, the compartment being located below the upper portion, and defined by a lower membrane and a wall extending between the upper portion and the lower membrane, wherein the lower membrane is rupturable; and a piercer in the sealed compartment that is actuable through the upper portion to pierce the lower membrane, wherein the piercer is configured to form a passage therethrough to open the compartment to the container interior.

Abstract: A fluid storage tank according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first outer wall section that forms a front face in the length direction, the width direction and the height direction so as to form a space portion in which a fluid is stored; a plurality of partition plates arranged along the length direction of the first outer wall portion to divide the space portion into the plurality of sub-space portions; and an end portion located between the outermost partition plate of the plurality of partition plates and the first outer wall portion, wherein each of the partition plates is formed with a fluid through hole comprising: a gas through hole located on the top of the partition plate; and a liquid through hole located on the bottom of the partition plate so that fluids between the sub-pace portions are in communication with each other.

Abstract: A container for storing a set of oral care tools in which multiple oral care tools are removably connected to connecting portion. The container includes a first portion that defines a first cavity configured to receive and capture the connecting portion therein and a second portion including first and second side walls defining a second cavity in which the oral care tools are stored. At least one of the first or second side walls can be pivoted to an open position to allow a consumer to access and separate an oral care tool from the connecting portion while the connecting portion is retained within the first cavity.

The plurality of insulation packages defining an axis. A first film wraps around the axis to compress and couple the plurality of insulation packages together, while a second film wraps around the first and second ends of the plurality of insulation packages. The first and second films are different films.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a case having a shock absorbing structure for an electronic device which includes a protective shell, a side enclosure frame, and a shock absorbing block. The shock absorbing block is constructed to have a plurality of recesses formed on the side wall of the protective shell such that adjacent recesses are separated by a partition. The recesses are rectangular and the plurality of recesses has a continuous unitary construction along lower part of the four sides of the protective shell. In addition, the side enclosure frame includes an upper protrusion and a lower protrusion, formed on an inner-facing surface of the side enclosure frame. The side wall of the protective shell includes an upper cavity and a lower cavity. The upper protrusion fits within the upper cavity and the lower Protrusion fits within the lower cavity.

Abstract: A system of packaging and displaying a set of products is disclosed. The system may include a first and second container, together forming a hinged box, each container including a first display face, and a first back positioned on a side of the container opposite the first display face. A first magnetic element and a second element magnetically responsive to the first magnetic element may be positioned in the containers to assist in closing the box. At least one of the containers includes a transparent cover that secures, even in the open position of the box, displayed products, the displayed product visible through the cover when the box is hinged open. The cover has perforations that can be torn to access the products without tools. The products are arranged in the order of use and installation.

Abstract: A packaged catheter includes a cover attachable to a container, an intermittent urinary catheter, and a urine collection bag. The intermittent urinary catheter has a proximal portion insertable into a bladder and a handle portion connected to the proximal portion; and a urine collection bag connected to the handle portion of the intermittent urinary catheter. Abstract: Because antimicrobial preservatives used in virtually all cosmetics exhibit degrees of adverse human toxicity that have become of increasing concern, a three element system is disclosed that eliminates the need for cosmetic preservatives and their degradation fragments that may exhibit toxicity. Element 1 comprises a cosmetic formulation not containing any preservative components. Element 2 is an individual unit dose of an Element 1 cosmetic formulation in a microbially-impenetrable disposable container. Element 3 comprises the sterilization of the sealed unit dose disposable container, employing heat or, preferably, employing ionizing radiation.

Abstract: The device enables a free-standing package to be formed with an open, light structure for packing a bundle of individual flat articles placed in direct juxtaposition and aligned along a straight longitudinal axis in the direction of the thickness of the flat articles. The device includes a pair of individual rigid lateral supports which are opposite each other and which rest directly on the respective sides of the bundle. The rigidity of the flat articles in the width direction is used to form the free-standing package. In particular the device enables the longitudinal compression of the flat articles to be controlled, which is useful in the case of flat articles which have a shape memory, such as folding cartons.
