Abstract: A generator storage system for securing and transporting a generator includes a vehicle that has a back side. A mount is coupled to the back side of the vehicle and a cage is coupled to the mount. A lid is hingedly coupled to the cage such that the lid selectively closes the cage. A generator is provided and the generator is positioned in the cage for transporting the generator.

Abstract: A load carrier and a method for operating the load carrier. The load carrier includes a base, a lid, and a lock arrangement arranged on the base and/or the lid, to lock the lid to the base. The lock arrangement includes at least a first and a second displaceable lock element operable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The first and the second lock elements are arranged to respectively engage with a first and a second lock member arranged on the opposing base or lid when being positioned in the locked position. The lock arrangement further includes an elongated actuation element in working cooperation with the first and the second lock element. An actuator arranged to displace the elongated actuation element from a locked position to a first position and thereby displacing the first and the second lock element from the locked position to the unlocked position.

Abstract: A mounting support bracket permits an attachment of a storage cart on a side wall of a utility vehicle. The mounting support bracket includes a base bar coupled to the side wall of the utility vehicle and oriented to extend horizontally, a pair of adjustable bar members slidably mounted to the base bar and oriented to extend vertically, each adjustable bar member in the pair of bar members designed to slidably adjust in a lateral direction, upward direction and downward direction relative to the base bar to a desired position, and a pair of hook members coupled to the pair of adjustable bar members. The hook members support the storage cart thereon, thereby permitting the storage cart to be secured to the utility vehicle.

Abstract: A vehicle cup holder assembly having a cup holder defining an interior volume and a cup holder base having a depth relative to a top surface of the cup holder. A spring may be positioned between a bottom edge of the cup holder base and a console bottom surface. The cup holder assembly may have a user interface. The cup holder assembly may also have a side member of the cup holder base positioned in a side space. The depth of the cup holder base may be adjusted by a mechanism controlled by the user interface.

Abstract: A motorcycle cargo storage system is disclosed having a lid that is translatable and rotatable relative to a compartment body to permit for the lid to be fully cleared of the access opening of the cargo storage system. The system may further include a securing system that selectively holds the lid of the cargo storage system in a closed position relative to the compartment body.

Abstract: A bike carrier for a trailer hitch receiver with two trays that pivot between a laterally opposed operational position for holding the wheels of a bike and a forward folded position for compact shipping and storage. In the operational position a tray open lock plate rises under spring force between the inner ends of the trays, stopping the trays from pivoting forward. Other stops on the carrier prevent backward pivoting of the trays. Pushing the plate down allows the trays to pivot forward. A tray folding stop plate may stop the trays from over-rotating forward past a parallel position when folding.

Abstract: A clip attaches an item, including a weight bearing item, to a strap worn by a person. The clip includes a body and a closure mechanism. The body has bottom and top portions connected by a hinge movable between a closed position, to capture the strap between, and an open position. At least one of the top and bottom surfaces has strap-engaging, non-slip structure to securely engage the strap captured therebetween. The closure mechanism includes closure structure at closure ends of the top and bottom portions and a stabilizer preventing relative movement of the closure ends generally parallel to the hinge axis when the clip is in the closed position. The clip can include a fastener supported by the body, the fastener being configured for attachment of the item to the clip.

Abstract: Bags or carriers are provided that can be transformed into protective vests and used as body armor and ballistic shields. The carriers can be assembled in a first arrangement that enables individuals to store and transport items. The carriers can quickly and easily be converted to or deployed in a second arrangement which enables the individuals to wear the carriers as protective vests. One or more shoulder straps can be detached from the carriers for use as tourniquets, doorway securing structures, and tools for dragging injured victims.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system module, which is carried on the back, for a work tool. The system module has a stand surface for setting down the system module in an upright manner. A carrying arrangement for the system module has at least one back panel and at least one shoulder strap. The back panel is formed with an upper shoulder portion and with a lower back portion. The back panel is extended beyond the back portion by a hip portion. The hip portion can be pivoted relative to the back portion about a movement axis. The movement axis extends at the level of the stand surface of the system module.

Abstract: A ratchet mechanism with a pawl slidably mounted on a ratchet bar. Two fingers in the pawl on opposite sides of ratchet bar pinch the bar between them when the pawl is pivoted to a pinch angle relative to the bar. A lever on the pawl pivots the pawl to release the fingers from the ratchet bar. An over-rotation stop on the pawl contacts the ratchet bar in the release position, and prevents the pawl from pivoting past the release position to a position that drags a finger against the ratchet bar. The over-rotation stop may extend from the pawl lever, contact and slide along the ratchet bar in the release position, and maintain an ideal release position of the pawl relative to the ratchet bar during sliding of the pawl on the ratchet bar. The ratchet bar may be toothless, providing smooth selection of stopping points on the bar.

Abstract: A utility backpack is provided with the functionality to simultaneously accommodate and carry bulky and elongated unwieldy items, especially when the elongated items have a pointy end. The utility backpack provides a bottom wall, at least one sidewall, a rear wall and front wall forming a main enclosure dimensioned and adapted for accommodating the bulky unwieldy items. The rear wall provides a sleeve that extends to the bottom wall, whereat a bottom mesh provides the floor for the sleeve as well as at least a portion of the main enclosure. The sleeve is dimensioned and adapted to accommodate the elongated unwieldy items having a pointy end, wherein the pointy end(s) protrude(s) through the bottom mesh, further accommodating the unwieldy items as well as preventing puncture damage to the utility backpack.

Abstract: A bike carrier on a drawbar for a trailer hitch receiver has two trays for the wheels of a bike. The trays pivot between an operational lateral position and a compact forward position for shipping and storage. A tray lock bar mounted in the carrier is urged by a spring into a position that automatically releasably locks the trays in the operational position. Pivoting wheel retention arms on the trays have cross members that contact the bike tires and are adjustable along the retention arms for different wheel diameters. Each cross member is held against a tire by a retention arm pivot ratchet that is releasable to allow the retention arms to pivot outward to release the bike from the carrier.

Abstract: A universal motorcycle storage case mounting assembly that detachably secures to a motorcycle or other vehicle, allowing a user to safely transport personal belongings to a destination. The mounting assembly utilizes two main components—a base frame and a platform, with a storage case being couplable to the platform, forming a transportable storage case. In order to secure to a motorcycle or other vehicle, the mounting assembly utilizes a triple-locking system, including a base latch bracket that attaches to the motorcycle; a receipt on the platform; and a platform latch bracket, the receipt and the platform latch bracket configured to secure the platform to the base frame. As a result of the locking system, the storage case requires force to detach from the motorcycle, thereby preventing inadvertent detachment. Upon arrival at a destination, a rider can detach the transportable storage case, rather than leave belongings on the motorcycle.

The method includes forming an inner skin by blanking, blanking an outer skin of a fabric member in a shape corresponding to the blanked inner skin, forming a preform of a protective cover by laminating the inner skin and the outer skin with each other, thermo-compressing the laminated preform along an outer peripheral edge of the protective cover and forming the protective cover by cutting at least a portion of a region where the preform is thermo-compressing by the blanking.
