    Abstract: A system and method for transmitting and receiving communications via an application running on a communication device is described. The system equips a user with tools configured to facilitate the editing of transmitted messages, the transmission of messages at a user-selected time, messages configured to automatically expire at a user-specified time after the recipient has opened the messages, and messages and social media posts screened for black-listed alert words. Blip messages are designed to leave no trace of their transmission or reception, and preferably expire after the sender-defined view time has passed. The system is envisioned for use across multiple platforms including social media and internet messaging, and is not limited to the mobile messaging market.

    Abstract: A system and method include processing logic receiving, from a wireless transceiver of a first device, first data indicative of channel state information (CSI) of a first communication link between the wireless transceiver and a wireless transmitter of a second device, the first device and the second device being located in a building. The logic pre-preprocesses the first data to generate input vectors composed of statistical parameter values derived from sets of discrete samples of the first data. The logic processes, through a long short-term memory (LSTM) layer of a neural network, the input vectors to generate multiple hidden state values of the neural network. The logic processes, through a set of additional layers of the neural network, respective hidden state values of the multiple hidden state values to determine that a human is present in the building.

    Abstract: A radio communication device has a variable resistor 20 and a power amplifier 21 and a variable power amplifier 22 as variable power amplification means. Gain control of the variable resistor 20 and the variable power amplifier 22 is performed for controlling transmission power of the radio communication device so that detection power detected in a first transmission power detection section 26 and detection power detected in a second transmission power detection section 27 are made equal by a variable power amplification control section 31. At this time, when the detection power difference becomes zero, the variable resistor 20 and the power amplifier 21 are switched off under the control of a switch control section 29 for prolonging the time period over which power supply is stopped.
