  • Patent number: 11950643
Abstract: The system comprises a cooling garment that is intended to cool the user of the garment. In one embodiment, the cooling garment is worn under a body armor. In one embodiment, the cooling garment is worn under any other garment or in any situation or environment where the user desires a cooling effect. In one embodiment the cooling garment comprises an outer layer and an inner layer. The inner layer has a plurality of perforations that allow air to flow therethrough. The outer layer is solid, so that air is urged toward the perforations and does not exit the garment away from the user, but instead towards the user. A flexible hose is coupled between the first and second layer and extends outward from the garment. The hose terminates in a quick release coupling that allows it to be removably attached to an air source, such as from a pump or other cooling system.

  • Patent number: 11918063
Abstract: A strapless face mask device comprised of a hollow plastic frame that is covered by a sleeve or protective covering. The body sleeve or covering protects the face, nose, mouth and chin area of the wearer such that any respiratory droplets from the wearer are prevented from entering into the surrounding environment and potentially infecting other individuals. Further, the personal protection device has at least one and preferably two tightening mechanisms that allow a wearer to tighten or loosen the seal that the frame makes with their face. Each tightening mechanism may receive a cable that runs within the hollow frame via a spool within each mechanism. When each spool is rotated, the cable upon each spool is tightened or loosened which in turn increases or decreases the convex angle of the frame to tighten or loosen the seal of the frame against the face of the wearer.

  • Patent number: 11882898
Abstract: A plantar shaped shoe sole constituted by layers includes a mid-sole constituted by a body and elastically compressible protrusions protruding downward from a body lower surface, each having an axial cavity and first holes. An upper surface of the body has holes associated with first holes of each protrusion. First protrusions are arranged at a central area of the heel and forefoot of the body and have a greater protruding height than second protrusions. First and second protrusions have first and second apices, respectively, forming anatomically-contoured curved surfaces, formed at protrusion free ends, opposite the body lower surface. Each axial cavity extends from the upper surface to their respective apex. There are more forefoot region first holes of first protrusions than second protrusions. The sole includes a tread and an elastic plantar supporting structure, at least one seat on the upper surface wherein the apices are positioned on the seat.

  • Patent number: 11828009
Abstract: An automated unspooling mechanism capable of dispensing of knitting material strands in a dynamically-controlled tension on a knitting machine. An unspooling device is configured to sense the tension of a strand fed to the knitting machine, and responsively adjust the strand deployment speed to avoid too little or too much strand dispensing without interrupting the knitting process. The unspooling device includes a variable motor drive that can rotate the strand package in various speeds, and a spring arm trigger that can sense the current tension of the dispensed material. The spring arm trigger can vary its arm position based on the sensed tension. The arm position is then processed and converted to a signal to vary the motor speed. Therefore, the deployment speed of the strands can be dynamically controlled based on a sensed tension of feeding the strand.
