Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to allow reserved content to be used at the proper timing. The information processing device of the present invention comprises a trade information storage unit that stores trade information for each user in which trade-away content and trade-for content set in association with each other; a user information storage unit that stores user information in which a user's possessed content and reserved content are set; a selection unit that selects reserved content that is the same as the designated trade-for content and is not the same as the possessed content, from among the user's reserved content based on the user information, as a result of an operation performed by the user to designate trade-for content that the user wants to acquire in a trade; and a notification unit that notifies the user that the selected reserved content can be acquired without a trade.

Abstract: A video game console, a video game system, and a computer-implemented method are described. Generally, a video game and video game assistance are adapted to a player. For example, a narrative of the video game is personalized to an experience level of the player. Similarly, assistance in interacting with a particular context of the video game is also personalized. The personalization learns from historical interactions of players with the video game and, optionally, other video games. In an example, a deep learning neural network is implemented to generate knowledge from the historical interactions. The personalization is set according to the knowledge.
Abstract: In a multiplayer video game, virtual cameras are controlled by continually assessing and ranking storylines relating to the interactions of various players during a game session. A ranking for each storyline may be based on various factors such as, but not limited to, what the players can see, the distance between certain players, nearby game items or in-game. Subsequently, at least one virtual camera is navigated to provide a view of the highest-ranking storyline, subject to certain limitations on how the camera can move, transition, or otherwise display the interactions between players. In embodiments, a set of rules including rules of cinematography, are used to provide additional control of the movement of the virtual camera. In embodiments, movements of a human camera-person are used on a mocap system to control the movement of the virtual camera.
Abstract: This invention allows the players of multiplayer games like poker, chess, backgammon, go, board games, and video games to play the game online while commenting on the game and explaining their strategies to an online audience without sharing that information with their opponents.
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for using and generating a mini-game from a game. One example method includes detecting an instruction to generate the mini-game for the game. The instruction is configured for a starting location for the mini-game from the game. An end location for the mini-game is determined. The mini-game includes an event of the game that occurs between the starting location and the end location of the mini-game. A snapshot is generated for the mini-game to enable play of the mini-game at the starting location. The starting location of the mini-game is selectable to be at a point that is after a start of the game.

Abstract: This application is directed to a method of managing processing capability of a server system having one or more processing cores that further include multiple processing slices. Upon receiving requests to initiate online gaming sessions, the server system allocates each processing slice of the processing cores to a subset of the online gaming sessions to be executed thereon. A first processing slice is allocated to a first subset of the online gaming sessions including a first gaming session and a second gaming session. At the first processing slice, a time-sharing processing schedule is determined for the first subset of the online gaming sessions. In accordance with the time-sharing processing schedule, the first and second gaming sessions share a duty cycle of the first processing slice, and are executed dynamically and in parallel according to real-time data processing need of the first and second gaming sessions.

Abstract: Gaming table systems include electronic gaming tables, gaming terminals, and a system server. A system or table can be configured to administer a live wager-based table game involving an initial shared hand that is shared by multiple live players. Each player can make different live game decisions regarding discarding physical playing items from the initial shared hand, and game outcomes include final hands that vary by player depending upon the different decisions. The live table game can be draw poker, which can involve dealing five physical cards face up for the initial shared hand and five additional cards face down for a first set of replacement cards before any live game player decisions. A second set of replacement cards can provide a second play from the same initial shared hand. Methods of providing the draw poker game can include preventing further user inputs prior to revealing the face down cards.
