  • Patent number: 7198306
Abstract: A spring-biased locking bolt with an operating button and a bolt connected with the operating button is described, wherein the bolt is spring-biased and movable in a sleeve. The sleeve is screwed into a corresponding opening in a machine part or an item of furniture, wherein the bolt can engage in the opening. The locking bolt has an optional catch that fixes the pulled-out bolt in its raised position. A sleeve section oriented in an axial direction is formed on the operating button, wherein the longitudinally movable and spring-biased sleeve engages with its polygonal shoulder with the polygonal opening.

  • Patent number: 7198236
Abstract: A nut assembly for quick adjustment of axial position relative to a threaded shaft. The nut is formed in two, physically separate sections, each having a surface portion with threads for mating engagement with the shaft. Each nut section is pivotally mounted to a bushing which surrounds the threaded shaft for movement of the nut threads into and out of engagement with the shaft threads. The sections are moved about their pivotal mountings by movement of a second bushing axially with respect to the first bushing through cooperative conical surfaces on the second bushing and on each of the nut sections. In one embodiment the second bushing is physically separate from and is moved linearly with respect to the first bushing, and in a second embodiment the first and second bushings are threadedly connected to one another with relative rotation of the two producing the relative axial movement.

  • Patent number: 7168688
Abstract: A fence section has upper and lower brackets that mount to one side of a post. Each bracket has a pair of rail mounting plates extending from opposite side edges of a post mounting plate. Upper and lower rails extend between the upper and lower mounting brackets. Each of the rails has a pair of sidewalls and an offset skirt extending from a base section, defining an elongated slot. The rails have ends that slide over and receive the rail mounting plates of the brackets. A panel has upper and lower edges that fit in the slot of the upper and lower rails.

  • Patent number: 7156806
Abstract: A clamping device which secures a retractor support apparatus to an operating table having a side rail. The clamping device has a first clamping member disposed between a side of the operating table and the side rail. The clamping device also includes a second clamping member disposed between the side rail and the first clamping member. A first securing mechanism operably connects the first and second clamping members such that a force provided by the first securing mechanism causes the first and second clamping members to move in opposing directions and frictionally engage the side of the operating table and the side rail.

  • Patent number: 7154051
Abstract: An angle connection accessory is to be disposed at the junction between at least two skirting ducts extending in different directions. The angle connection accessory includes a plate having: a web; an inlet side face and an outlet side face that extend perpendicularly to at least one partition that is perpendicular to the web and that mutually isolates a first compartment and a second compartment; and an outlet face parallel to the partition via which firstly the first compartment opens directly to the outside, and secondly the second compartment also opens to the outside via a channel isolated from the first compartment and extending substantially perpendicularly to the partition between the second compartment and the outlet face. The plate includes two flaps hinged relative to each other via a hinge so as to form an angle between them, the channel extending at the join between the two flaps.

  • Patent number: 7111828
Abstract: An outdoor screen fence is made up of a series of molded panels with simulated paneling and lattice in relief bounded on each lateral side by a leg. Each leg has a plurality of brackets along the length thereof. The brackets on one leg are disposed intermediate the brackets on the other leg. Each of the brackets has an aperture therethrough for receiving a tubular fence post. In assembly, the brackets of different panels are aligned in an interspersed relationship and a fence post with a removable impact cap is inserted through the apertures and driven into a support surface such that each leg is supported by at least two brackets.

  • Patent number: 7108249
Abstract: High fence supports can be expensive, difficult to ship, and awkward to install. Often, and particularly for the control of deer, it is desirable to increase the height of existing fence that uses steel T-posts for support. The T-post extender combined with a steel T-post becomes a high fence support useful for supporting high fence. A T-post extender consists of a longitudinal element, typically a length of steel rebar, and a stop element, typically a washer welded to the longitudinal element at a selected location along its length. For existing T-post fence supports, the T-post extender is slipped into place alongside the top of the T-post where it is captured laterally by existing wire ties and vertically by the stop element resting against the top of the T-post under the force of gravity. This arrangement has cost, installation, and shipping advantages both in new high fence construction and in the case where the height of existing T-post supported fence must be increased.

  • Patent number: 7090426
Abstract: A bidirectional slide lock includes a first clip and a second clip that are slid and locked together. The first clip has a longitudinal axis, a pair of pawls, and a pair of flanges. The second clip has a longitudinal axis, a pair of pawl stops, and a pair of clip flanges. Both pair of flanges retentively engaging one another to hold the clips together to prevent movement away from one another. The pawls engage the pawl stops to hold clips against longitudinal movement. The bidirectional slide lock also has springs biasing the pawls toward the second clip so as to retain pawls in retentive engagement with the pawl stops. The method of use includes moving the first and second clips longitudinally relative to one another so that the flanges move into retentive engagement and cause each of the pawl ends to engage one of the pawl stops.

  • Patent number: 7040832
Abstract: A locking device has an enclosure partially securely mounted on a peripheral edge of the outer tube and having a lever pivotally connected to the enclosure; and a positioning rod securely connected to a side of the lever to be driven by the lever and having a head formed on a free end of the positioning rod to correspond to one of the adjusting recesses of the inner tube such that pivotal movement of the lever is able to drive the head of the positioning rod to selectively move away from the corresponding adjusting recess to allow the inner tube to move relative to the outer tube.

  • Patent number: 7032890
Abstract: The present invention is a thin profile prefabricated reinforced plastic fence. A preferred embodiment of the fence comprises a top rail having a bottom side with a plurality of picket apertures and a bottom rail having a top side with a plurality of member apertures. The bottom rail preferably contains a horizontal strengthening member and supports the top rail by way of vertical pickets. Each picket sheaths a strengthening member that is slideable inside the picket. The top of each picket is inserted into the picket apertures of the top rail and the strengthening member extends from the bottom of each picket into the member aperture of the bottom rail. The bottom of each picket rests upon the top side of the bottom rail. The fence ends have a first post and second post to which the top and bottom rails are fastened.
