  • Patent number: 8584906
Abstract: A pump head for a displacement pump used in a bottle dispenser and configured to minimize misdirection of solution dispensed through an orifice thereof. The pump head is an integrally molded one piece structure, having an elliptical outlet orifice that lies in a substantially horizontal plane, and having a major axis substantially twice that of the minor axis. The configuration and the positioning of the orifice minimizes clogging or coagulation of certain solutions, obscures such coagulation from view, and minimizes the misdirection of any dispensing through the nozzle orifice that would otherwise result from clogging or coagulation. The pump head is particularly adapted for use with displacement pumps employed in bottle dispensers and the like.

  • Patent number: 8584909
Abstract: A dispensing tap for beverages that comprises an actuator and a valve housing. A conical spring washer is joined and/or sealed to an actuator base to form the actuator. The actuator is then inserted into the valve housing to form the dispensing tap for attachment to a container containing a liquid. In use, a force is exerted on the conical spring washer to actuate the actuator base within the valve housing and thereby create an opening and/or passageway in the dispensing tap. Once opened and as the force is maintained, the liquid in the container can flow through the opening or passageway for dispensing the liquid out the dispensing tap. Upon releasing the force, the conical spring washer returns back to its original position. This movement of the conical spring washer causes the actuator base to move in the reverse direction within the valve housing thereby closing the opening and/or eliminating the passageway in the dispensing tap.

  • Patent number: 8573448
Abstract: The present invention provides a lotion pump, comprises: a nozzle head; a plunger connected with the nozzle head, in which an upper one-way valve is disposed; a container cap which is engaged with a mouth of a bottle; a housing, its upper end is connected to the container cap, and on its lower end there is a lower one-way valve; and a spring, its lower end abuts against the bottom of the housing, and its upper end abuts against the head of the plunger; characterized in that, the diameter of an upper portion of the plunger is larger than that of a lower portion of the plunger, thereby a step is formed at the position where the diameter is changed, said step forms a valve seat for said upper one-way valve. The lotion pump of the present invention can be realized by a very simple structure, minimum parts and a very low manufacturing cost. While greatly increasing the productivity, it can obtain good sealing and leak-proof performance.

  • Patent number: 8505785
Abstract: A cartridge piston for pressing out a compound from a cartridge body is provided with a forwardly directed, elastic sealing lip which is arranged to bear against the cartridge wall. To allow for escape of air while the piston is being introduced, air passages are provided on the sealing lip. In a wall portion of the side wall, the piston has a non-circular shape so that, in certain regions, the abutment of the piston on the cartridge wall is less close than in other regions. In this manner, the outflow of air to the outside is facilitated. Further, the piston is arranged in its inserted state in a sealing abutment on the cartridge wall, thus precluding ingress of air into the cartridge.
