  • Patent number: 11950587
Abstract: A rat trap includes a frame with a tunnel or arch at a first and, the tunnel formed with a slit over the entrance. A spring is mounted on the frame and a locking mechanism can temporarily maintain the spring in tension. A cable is attached to the spring and includes a noose at a distal end. With the noose disposed in the slit, a switch such as a mechanical switch or an electrical switch is arranged to detect the presence of a rat in the tunnel below the slit. The switch operates to release the spring and withdraw the noose from the tunnel at a high rate of speed to capture the animal in the tunnel.

  • Patent number: 11930796
Abstract: A fish lure having a light-transparent, plastic body having a non-transparent coating of a paint or film over a portion of the upper surface of the lure body and one or more uncovered portions that permit light, such as sunlight, to pass through the lure body, and be visible from the underside and opposed sides of the lure. The body also contains a transparent liquid containing glitter pieces, and the allowed sunlight reflects off the glitter pieces despite the presence of the non-transparent coating covering portions of the lure body. The body can also have a sealable lower chamber filled with the liquid containing glitter pieces, and a sealable upper chamber filled with a gas that provides buoyancy to float the lure on the surface of a water body, horizontal and upright along the surface of the water body.

  • Patent number: 11895998
Abstract: A tackle box equipped with a fishing rod holder, configured to facilitate the resting of a fishing pole, even while in use, in a secure manner is described. The tackle box is equipped with an extendable support, equipped with a location in which an end of a handle of the fishing rod or pole may be placed. A rest is configured to extend up and away from a top and side of the tackle box, functioning as a fulcrum to aid the stability of the tackle box when holding a rod in an upright position. The rest is equipped with a V-shaped cutout in which a midsection of the handle of the fishing pole may securely rest. A lip of the extendable support maintains contact with the pole, counteracting the force applied to the rod by the fish, preventing the pole from toppling over. Weight of the tacklebox itself is employed to counteract the force exerted on the rod by the fish to maintain stability.
