Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing paper which comprises: (i) providing an aqueous suspension comprising cellulosic fibers, (ii) adding to the suspension after all points of high shear: a first polymer being a cationic polymer having a charge density above 2.5 meq/g; a second polymer; and a third polymer being an organic or inorganic anionic polymer; and (iii) dewatering the obtained suspension to form paper.

Abstract: The present patent application provides an oral nicotine-substituted cytisine atomized liquid and its preparation method. The oral nicotine-substituted cytisine atomized liquid includes the following components in mass percentage per 1 L of the oral atomized liquid: 0.1-10% of tobacco, 0.3-15% of cocoa extract, 0.1-0.9% of cytisine, 0.1-0.5% of TWEEN 80 and 75-90% of primer. Abstract: Processes and methods of manufacturing a synthetic or imitation nicotine product are provided. One process may include the steps of providing a plurality of areca fruits, drying the plurality of areca fruits, dehusking the plurality of areca fruits to obtain a plurality of areca nuts, chopping, shredding or grinding the plurality of areca nuts into a multiplicity of areca nut particles, introducing the multiplicity of areca nut particles into a tank containing water, agitating the multiplicity of areca nut particles to create a slurry, determining an amount of arecoline in the slurry and pumping the water having the predetermined amount of arecoline through a filter and into a holding tank and evaporating the arecoline from the water. An imitation nicotine product that may include 1% to 20% arecoline by weight with other elements may then be manufactured.
Abstract: This document provides methods and systems for stabilizing nicotine and incorporating nicotine into one or more oral products. This document also provides oral products. Nicotine can be stabilized by mixing liquid nicotine with cellulosic fiber such that the liquid nicotine absorbs into pores of the cellulosic fiber to form a cellulosic fiber-nicotine mixture. In some cases, a cellulosic fiber-nicotine mixture can be combined with one or more binders and molded into an oral product.

Abstract: A method of modifying the content of certain chemical compounds in tobacco materials is provided, the method including treatment of a tobacco plant or portion thereof with at least one enzyme. For example, the method may modify the content of tobacco smoke toxicant precursors in tobacco materials, which can result in a modification in toxicant production when the tobacco material is exposed to elevated temperatures.
