  • Patent number: 8720431
Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting frame for supporting sheet-type solar panels (12) comprising, fitted substantially vertically for anchoring by its lower end (13a) in the ground or by a fixed anchoring location (13b), a supporting mast (13) at which the solar panels (12) resting on a plane panel support (8-11) are supported by means of a supporting structure (14) and which are rotatable about the axis of the mast for azimuthal tracking.

  • Patent number: 8668492
Abstract: A removable, candle wick for its ability to be removed from a body of meltable wax and replaced on the same body of meltable wax or placed on a different body of wax. Being anchored on a metal wick tab allows wick to be placed on top of a flat wax surface with stem portion being ignited with a flame. As wax melts the wick tab sinks into the wax and can be extinguished and removed from wax before wax hardens and then placed in a container and reused as desired. The wick will burn wax completely and evenly, and after burning a body of wax, entirely extinguished and placed on a new body of wax to start a new burning. The wick will burn as long as it comes in contact with a meltable body of wax.

  • Patent number: 8647112
Abstract: A combustor assembly of a water heater, which is provided between an air blower and a burner set to guide air from the air blower to the burner set, includes a first board, a second board and a third board stacked in sequence. Between the first board and the second board there is a first chamber and a first port, and between the second board and the first board there is a second chamber and a second port. The second board and the third board both have apertures. These boards restrict and divide an air flow of the air blower to flow along several paths to increase heat efficiency.

  • Patent number: 8499755
Abstract: A mobile kitchen comprises a housing disposed atop one or more wheel axles and a plurality of appliances disposed within the housing. Each appliance is heated by combustion of a distillate fuel. One or more air channels are disposed about each of the appliances, such that each air channel substantially isolates excess heat from combustion of the distillate fuel from a workspace within the housing. One or more first air blowers are associated with the air channels, and each is adapted to force air through the air channels and vent the excess heat to the exterior of the housing. One or more second air blowers are coupled to the housing, and each second air blower is adapted to vent a predetermined volume of air from within the workspace at least once per minute.

  • Patent number: 8479721
Abstract: In one aspect the invention discloses an improved gas burner with a high turn-down ratio. The improved burner includes first and second gas flow passages, a flame front locator in one of the passages of the burner cap. Fuel gas is injected into an end of one of the passages and is ignited to establish a flame at the flame front locator. Secondary combustion air is provided through the other of the passages which on a high setting enables secondary combustion and on a low setting may mix with the hot gases and cool them resulting in a lower temperature at the cooking vessel.

  • Patent number: 8464704
Abstract: A combustion apparatus for the burning of solid fuel using a plurality of secondary combustion zones is disclosed. The combustion apparatus includes primary and secondary air inlets, an inclined hearth and a unique second air source which washes up a window in the combustion apparatus creating a floating flame effect and rendering the window self-cleaning. A series of baffles define a secondary combustion pathway which optimizes secondary combustion of exhaust gasses and particulate matter. Coaxial rear and top direct venting apparatus are also disclosed. The combustion apparatus provided combusts a wide range of solid fuel at a high level of efficiency.

  • Patent number: 8007273
Abstract: A premixing burner has a swirl generator with at least two burner shells (1) which jointly enclose an axia conically widening swirl space and delimit tangential air inlet slits (3) through which combustion supply air passes into the swirl space in which an axially propagating swirl flow is formed, and with fuel injection devices at least partially along the tangentially running air inlet slits (3). The fuel injection devices include a fuel line (6) separate from the burner shell (1) and which is firmly attached to the burner shell (1) so as to be longitudinally movable with respect to the burner shell (1) and releasable perpendicularly to the surface of the burner shell (1). In the burner shell (1), orifices (4) are provided, into which issue fuel injectors (7) which are provided along the fuel line (6) and which project beyond the circumferential edge of the fuel line (6).
