Abstract: A waste storage device includes a waste storage part for storing a waste item and a packaging device arranged in an upper part of the waste storage part. The packaging device includes two film feed rollers, two waste sealing rollers which pull out films and are arranged in parallel that the peripheral surfaces thereof are in contact via the pulled out respective films in a normal state and at least one of which has the peripheral surface that is elastically deformed along the shape of the waste item, and a driving part which rotates the rollers. Two friction rollers which are driven and rotated to sandwich the films sealing the waste item having passed between the waste sealing rollers and pull them downward are provided below the waste sealing rollers. The device prevents a waste item sealed with resin films from being caught in rollers such as waste sealing rollers.
Abstract: Apparatus and a process for dividing heat-shrinkable plastic film into different temperature regions within a shrink wrap oven including a movable platform; a cylindrical tube immovably mounted within the oven in the direction of movement of the platform and including a platform for supporting a portion of the heat-shrinkable plastic film and a slit running the length of said cylindrical tube; a package covered with heat shrinkable plastic film and including that portion of the heat-shrinkable plastic film resting on the platform adjacent the cylindrical tube; an electric fan mounted at the opposite end of the cylindrical tube containing the platform and sucking ambient air through the cylindrical tube to cool that portion of the heat-shrinkable plastic film as the heat-shrinkable plastic film is tightly shrunk around the package.
Abstract: A machine for making covered paper or cardboard boxes which have a curvilinear outline comprises means for forming a curvilinear box (6) and a covering station (R) operating in conjunction with means for the linear feed of a pre-glued covering sheet (12), in such a way that the sheet (12) is connected to the outer wall of the box (6).
Abstract: The installation includes an infeed conveyor (7) and an outfeed conveyor (8) with a module (5) for forming a wrapping of the tray, a cleated belt conveyor (11) constituted by two continuous belts (11a, 11b) which are retractable so as to allow the installation of a substitute conveying system (13) which is capable of forming a continuous slider bed between the infeed conveyor (7) and the outfeed conveyor (8). Accordingly, a versatile installation is provided that is capable of carrying out wrapping operations with blanks of the tray or wrap-around type and transporting batches of products, the products being, for example, placed on supporting cardboard sheets so as to convey them to the packing machine to receive a plastic film and then into the heat-shrink tunnel to complete the wrapping.

Abstract: An automatic drilling system includes a top drive comprising a proximity sensor disposed in a housing thereof. A portion of the top drive is coupled to elevators through load transfer springs such that axial loading applied to the elevators results in relative movement between a link load collar and a load ring. A proximity sensor is mounted such that the relative movement results in a change in signal output thereof. A processor is in signal communication with the proximity sensor and is configured to operate a drive shaft motor. The processor is configured to disable rotation of the motor when the relative movement is indicative of axial loading on the elevators.
