  • Patent number: 6851197
Abstract: A layout device is used with an archery bow. The bow has a riser and a pair of flexible limbs extending oppositely from the riser. The layout device includes a frame with an arm configured for coupling with the riser. The arm has a longitudinal axis. An axial adjustment mechanism is carried by the frame, and is movable relative to the frame in a direction generally orthogonal to the longitidinal axis. A laser is carried by the axial adjustment mechanism. The laser is rotatable at least approximately 180° about a rotation axis extending generally orthogonal to the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 5222809
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the core body temperature of infants or persons without volitional bladder control utilizing minimal urine volume. The device employs a readily deployed collection surface contiguous with a sump or reservoir into which the collected urine contacts a superabsorbent powder. Affixed to the reservoir is a peak temperature sensor for indicating the maximum temperature of the urine and thereby the core body temperature of the donor.

  • Patent number: 4899454
Abstract: A drafting table includes vertical and horizontal straight edged supports together with drive mechanisms for moving the vertical straight edge such that it will always point to a viewing point and for moving the horizontal straight edges in plural different modes. In a first mode, the two horizontal straight edges are moved such that their edges always point to respective vanishing points. In a second mode the horizontal straight edges are moved such that one continues to point to a vanishing point while the other maintains a fixed angle with respect to horizontal, and so that their edges always intersect at a point along the line of view. The drive mechanisms for the horizontal straight edge supports can be disabled, reversed or their drive ratios changed in accordance with the particular drawing being made.
