    Abstract: An apparatus for the removal of objects and other debris from cement that is pumped via a concrete pump includes a secondary screen that is pivotally attached at one end thereof to a concrete pump a predetermined distance above a grate that is disposed over a hopper, the screen having a smaller opening size than that of the grate. An opposite end of the screen is urged toward an opposite end of the hopper by a pair of elastomeric straps. A pair of upraised sides are included at a top and bottom of the screen, the screen having a planar member that is disposed at a steeper angle than is the grate. When cement is poured it first contacts and passes through the secondary screen which automatically descends and rises, thereby maximizing the flow rate of cement through the screen as the objects are removed from the mixture.

A driven pick roll delivers media from a stack of media to a media feed path in the hardcopy device. Media is contained in an input tray and the pick roll is mounted on one side of the centerline through the tray. A passive media bias arm having a media contacting surface on one end is configured for making contact with media contained in the input tray and is spaced apart from the pick roll on the opposite side of the centerline.

    Abstract: The scanner apparatus has a feed device for picking up checks from an input receptacle and transferring them to a conveyor mechanism which conveys the checks through the interior of the apparatus. A feed plate resiliently urges a bundle of checks in the receptacle towards an opposed surface. A feed roller acting on the side remote from the plate picks up from the receptacle a check disposed adjacent the surface and transfers it towards the interior of the apparatus. The movement of the feed plate towards the opposed surface is stopped in a position close to that surface so as to define between the plate and the surface a gap of sufficient width for the insertion of at least one check in the input receptacle.

A tray onto which the mail is stacked is carried sequentially from the sorting bin to the tray storage and is supplied via a spiral chute to the mail supplying unit again to perform the second sorting. The destination of the mail can be automatically further sorted.

    Abstract: A printer guide clip is configured for retrofit in a paper tray of pre-existing commercially available printer for blocking corner curling of forms transported therethrough. The clip includes first and second side tabs integrally joined together by an arcuate cap extending between the top ends thereof. The first tab is configured for retention inside a pre-existing slot in the paper tray. An inclined ramp extends outwardly from the second tab inside the tray in the vicinity of the form corner for blocking curling thereof during use. The clip is readily attachable to the tray for use with laminated forms, and is easily removable therefrom when no longer needed.

First separator section receives fine to middle size fractions and second separator section receives middle to coarse size fractions. A support frame having adjustable slots supports a plurality of static electrodes. Corona element for emitting a corona charge is spaced generally in a first quadrant of first separator section. A rotatable brush and an alternating current wiper may be included for removing fine to middle size nonconductive fractions from first separator section.

Preferably, the bulk material is sized into successively smaller particle size fractions, with the largest fraction placed into a confined area. The next smaller size fraction is then added until the largest sized fraction begins to dilate. The next successive smaller size fraction is added until the mixture beams to dilate, with the process being continued until the smallest size fraction is used. Methods of decreasing the density of bulk materials are also provided.

The spool receives a roll of toilet paper thereon, and has an end cap that is removably coupled to an end of the spool, after placement of the toilet paper roll on the spool to prevent the roll from coming off of the spool. The toilet paper dispenser includes a top cover positioned so as to conceal a top portion of the toilet paper roll when the mounting plate is mounted on a wall surface. When a drywall type surface is used, a butterfly type anchor permits attachment of the mounting plate to the drywall type surface.

The overlapping feeding assembly includes a suction cup assembly, a lap roller drive assembly, and a belt conveyor assembly. The separating mechanism includes a speed up roller assembly. The feeding assembly includes approximately 50% fewer parts than other known feeders and can operate at a printer press speed of approximately 75,000 inserts per hour.
