  • Patent number: 11770581
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented herein for recording portions of a media asset relevant to recording criteria. A media application receives input indicating the recording criteria and identifying a first keyword. The media application accesses a data structure to identify a first node associated with the first keyword. The data structure includes the first node and a plurality of nodes connected to the first node via a plurality of paths. The media application receiving audio component data for a portion of the media asset extracts a term from the audio component data, and identifies a second node in the data structure that is associated with the extracted term. The media application calculates a path score for the portion of the media asset based on a path size in the data structure between the first node and the second node. When the score is high enough, the portion of the media asset is recorded.

  • Patent number: 11758273
Abstract: A camera device having an enlarged or wide-angle field of view generates images of surroundings simultaneously using only one image capturing unit, such as an image sensor, for example. The camera device uses a diverting unit disposed upstream of the image capturing unit. The diverting unit includes so-called holographic optical elements which, based on their deflection structures, divert or deflect light so that the camera device can capture the wide-angle field of view, without generating imaging aberrations on the resulting image(s). The deflection structures are wavelength-selective and/or angle-selective. The total field of view is subdivided into individual angle-of-incidence regions by virtue of the properties of the deflection structures.

  • Patent number: 11721190
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for detecting objects or patient safety events in a patient room. Artificial intelligence is utilized to enhance safety issue recognition capabilities by the methods and systems. Sensors collect a series of images and depth data in a room of a patient. Data (corresponding to images and depth data of an object or patient safety event) is received from the sensors and compared to stored data to identify the object or patient safety event. The images are communicated to a central video monitoring system and a user may be prompted to confirm if the object requires learning or a patient safety event occurred (or identify the object or patient safety event) or to provide additional parameters or actions. A patient safety learning system analyzes the data and incorporates the user response to enhance safety issue recognition capabilities of the system and reduce false alerts.

  • Patent number: 11709352
Abstract: Microscopic analysis of a sample includes a system using dark-field illumination. A mid-IR optical source generates a mid-infrared beam, which is directed onto the sample to induce a temperature change by absorption of the mid-infrared beam. A visible light source generates a light illuminating the sample on a substrate and creating a scattered field and a reflected field along a collection path of the system. A pupil mask is positioned along the collection path to block the reflected field while allowing the scattered field to pass therethrough. A camera is positioned at an end of the collection path to collect the scattered field and generate a dark-field image of the sample.

  • Patent number: 11700437
Abstract: A capsule endoscope device, system and method for dynamically adjusting a color illumination spectrum. A plurality of different color groups of LEDs may emit light, recorded by an image sensor, corresponding to a plurality of different respective wavelength subranges. A driving circuit may send a driving current to independently activate each different color group of LEDs during entirely or partially non-overlapping time pulses. A single color group of LEDs is independently activated at any one time, and the plurality of different color groups of LEDs are sequentially activated in successive time pulses to simulate a white light or multi-color illumination spectrum over a plurality of the time pulses. The activation pattern of the color groups of LEDs may be dynamically adjusted, in real-time, to achieve a flexible and customizable illumination spectrum ideal for imaging a variety of different environments e.g., in the GI tract.
