  • Patent number: 10603830
Abstract: Polymeric netting comprising polymeric ribbons and polymeric strands, each of the polymeric ribbons and polymeric strands having a length and a width, wherein the length is the longest dimension and the width is the shortest dimension, wherein a plurality of the polymeric strands are bonded together to form a netting layer, wherein adjacent polymeric strands in the netting layer are bonded intermittently at multiple locations along their respective lengths, wherein the netting layer has first and second opposing major surfaces, wherein the polymeric ribbons have a height-to-width aspect ratio of at least 2:1 and a minor surface defined by their width and length, and wherein the minor surface of a plurality of the polymeric ribbons is bonded to the first major surface of the netting layer. Polymeric netting described herein are useful, for example, in an absorbent article.

  • Patent number: 10557222
Abstract: A woven textile is provided, including at least two blocks connected with each other. Each of the two blocks has an upper layer and a lower layer which are woven and fixed by a binding thread, and the upper layer and the lower layer are respectively composed of woven braids which extend meanderingly. The textile braid of the upper layer and the textile braid of the lower layer define a plurality of meshes, and the textile braids of the two blocks have different diameters so that the meshes on the two blocks have different dimensions.

  • Patent number: 10543670
Abstract: A separating film with an anti-adhesion layer for preventing an adhesive connection between a thermally curable levelling compound, applied in the region of a joining zone of a first component, and a joining zone of a second component to be joined to the first component. The anti-adhesion layer is provided, at least in parts, with a heating layer. As a result of the actively electrically heatable heating layer of the separating film, which is an integral part of the separating film, the processing time for joining two components, which are subject to tolerances, using a thermally curable levelling compound (known as liquid shimming), can be reduced by at least 40% compared with the conventional process.

  • Patent number: 10533323
Abstract: A composite backer board for wet space construction is disclosed, along with a method of producing the backer board. The board includes a rigid foam core of a suitable thickness for wet space construction. A first fabric layer is fixed to at least one face of the rigid foam core with a polymeric adhesive. A first polymer layer is on the first fabric layer in which the polymer layer is dimensionally stable parallel to the face of the rigid foam core. A second fabric layer is on the first polymer layer opposite the first fabric layer and forms a first face that is amenable to thin set mortar and related compositions in wet space construction.

  • Patent number: 10532494
Abstract: A production plant for a ground covering structure (6) comprises a plant inlet zone and a plant outlet zone for a grid reinforcing member (10). The plant further comprises movement means (4) designed in operation to move the grid reinforcing member (10) along a predetermined path from the inlet zone to the outlet zone, supply means (11) for the supply of plastics material in the fluid state in the form of threads (7) to the reinforcing member (10) disposed along the predetermined path, and cooling means (2, 3) for cooling the plastics material in the form of threads (7) which are tangled on the grid reinforcing structure. The inlet zone and the outlet zone are disposed opposite one another along the predetermined path with respect to the supply means.

  • Patent number: 10500801
Abstract: A polymeric netting includes polymeric strands and first and second polymeric ribbons. The first and second ribbons each independently have a height-to-width aspect ratio of at least three to one and a major surface that is intermittently bonded to a polymeric strand, with first and second edges symmetrically disposed on opposite sides of a center line bisecting the major surface. The netting has first and second opposing major surfaces transverse to the major surfaces of the first and second ribbons. The first major surface of the netting includes the first edges of the first ribbons, and the second major surface includes the second edges of the second ribbons. The first ribbons do not extend to the second major surface, and the second ribbons do not extend to the first major surface. Articles including the netting, an extrusion die, and a method useful for making the netting are also disclosed.
