    Abstract: A device for securing an electric storage battery against theft and holding it in the battery support tray provided in an automotive vehicle. The device includes special stanchions which extend upwardly from the battery support tray to support a rigid plate in overlaying relationship with respect to the top of the battery. The plate is attached to the stanchions with special anti-theft fastener assemblies which require the use of a special removal tool, and a battery hold-down pad is interposed between the plate and the battery to hold it in place.

    Abstract: Wind propulsion apparatus for a skier or skater comprises a sail secured to its upper end to a mast and having a pair of sheets at its lower end trained about guide pulleys secured to the user's boots. The sheets may be adjustably secured to retainers carried by the user. The mast has a mount at its lower end which may be supported on either of the user's feet.
