  • Patent number: 11978094
Abstract: A pervasive advisor for major purchases and other expenditures may detect that a customer is contemplating a major purchase (e.g., through active listening). The advisor may assist the customer with the timing and manner of making the purchase in a way that is financially sensible in view of the customer's financial situation. A customer may be provided with dynamically-updated information in response to recent actions that may affect an approved loan amount and/or interest rate. Underwriting of a loan may be triggered based on the geo-location of the user. Financial advice may be provided to customers to help them meet their goals using information obtained from third party sources, such as purchase options based on particular goals. The pervasive advisor may thus intervene to assist with budgeting, financing, and timing of major expenditures based on the customer's location and on the customer's unique and changing circumstances.

  • Patent number: 11978114
Abstract: Certain consumers may not have a credit report and, thus, may not be able to enroll in a credit monitoring service. A credit report monitoring system requests a credit report of consumers that are attempting to enroll in a credit monitoring service. If no credit report is located for the consumer, a credit report of the consumer is automatically periodically requested by the system. When a credit report is later located, the consumer may continue with enrollment in a credit report monitoring service. In this way, the consumer is alerted of the (possibly fraudulent) creation of a credit report and is quickly able to enroll in a credit monitoring service.

  • Patent number: 11961088
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a Temporal CVV2 of CVV, which may be represented as a temporary three digit number generated using unique credentials associated with a card product. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the Temporal CVV2 may be generated for each transaction request or other defined set of transactions based on one or more factors, including time period/limit, usage, fraud/risk considerations. With this solution, a customer may request a new Temporal CVV2 each time a purchase is initiated. This may include online purchases, e-commerce transactions, manual link and provision requests, customer authentication for servicing channels, etc. An embodiment of the present invention seeks to mitigate risk and provide a safer and secure solution for customers while providing flexibility to make various purchases before a new card arrives.

  • Patent number: 11954658
Abstract: A system includes one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform steps of a method. The system may provide an augmented environment that facilitates a transaction. The system may store profile data including user payment or user profile information. The system may then receive environmental data, and identify one or more action items in the environmental data. In response to this identification, the system may augment the environmental data by adding virtual environmental data, and then provide this virtual environmental data to a device to create an augmented environment. The system can then receive user input data, and provide purchase request data to a merchant terminal in response to those inputs.

  • Patent number: 11928729
Abstract: A plurality of bank identification number (BIN) ranges are characterized according to credit risk. A list of the plurality of bank identification number (BIN) ranges characterized by credit risk is made available to a transit-specific payment network interface processor, which is coupled to a plurality of memory-constrained fare gates of a transit authority. The list is configured to be distributed to the memory-constrained fare gates of the transit authority. Advantageously, the list based on BIN ranges takes up less memory than a list based on individual account numbers or the like and can be maintained in memory at the memory-constrained fare gates for rapid decisioning.

  • Patent number: 11900451
Abstract: A real-time activity recommendation system receives an input from a user device regarding a targeted financial goal, such as a target credit score. Using machine learning models to evaluate patterns of user activity that contribute positively towards the goal, and to evaluate the limitations and opportunities of the user's financial circumstances and profile, the recommendation system makes an assessment in real time to determine user actions that can be taken to improve credit health based on a user's profile and activity data. A user-specific recommendation regarding an activity that should be performed to reach the goal is generated and transmitted to the user. User and third party activity is later monitored as the user's financial status changes over time, and the recommendations are updated accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11875333
Abstract: A user is presented with a first display with certain parties and a second display on the same screen, where the user can drag and drop the parties on the first screen to the second screen to create a desired network flow. A service provider, such as a payment provider, builds code based on the network flow and zips it into a downloadable file. The user can then easily implement the zipped code into a mobile app that will allow a user to send data through the app using the payment provider. The zipped code uses a library of data options offered by the payment provider and allows the user to input custom variables into these options. Code is automatically generated for the user to use based on the user input.

  • Patent number: 11861691
Abstract: A computing device is configured to acquire or access credit or reporting data associated with a consumer. The computing device then is configured to analyze the credit or reporting data to determine reporting cycles for accounts associated with the consumer. For example, the computing device may determine that credit information for a particular account may be updated at a regular interval (e.g., once a month on the 3rd) or some other more complex cycle. The computing device can subsequently used the determined reporting cycles to predict the next reporting dates for respective accounts and provide the information, for instance, to the consumer.

  • Patent number: 11842405
Abstract: A central claims adjuster control unit associated with an entity may oversee the assignment of claims cases to claims adjusters. The control unit may designate that a threshold number of cases may be assigned to certain claims adjusters. When new claims cases arrive, the control unit may monitor the workload of each of the claims adjusters and the threshold value assigned to any of the claims adjusters before assigning the case to one of the adjusters. If no adjuster is available, the control unit may store the case(s) in a memory until one of the adjusters becomes available. An additional feature of the control unit includes a user interface for modifying information about claims adjusters, including whether or not a threshold value is associated with them, the value of any associated threshold, and the reassignment of cases from one adjuster to another.
