Abstract: A current transformer system according to the present invention includes: a sensor CT detachably attached to an electric power transmission/distribution line for detecting the current flowing through the power line by means of electromagnetic induction; a generator CT detachably attached to an electric power transmission/distribution line for generating power by means of electromagnetic induction; and a microprocessor for controlling the sensor CT and the generator CT. According to the present invention, the generator CT is used as the main power source so as to perform independently power supply and facilitate the construction of an additional source in need of additional power.
Abstract: It is presented a method, performed in a one time password, OTP, generating device. The OTP device comprises an NFC/RFID, Near Field Communication/Radio Frequency Identification, interface. The method comprises the steps of: upon the OTP generating device being inserted into the RF field, generating a new OTP code; formatting the OTP code into a static message; responding to interrogation requests from an RFID/NFC reader; and responding to read requests from the RFID/NFC reader with the OTP code being part of a message as if it were a static message, using standardized methods. A corresponding device OTP generating device is also presented.
Abstract: A switch element includes a source having a plurality of source fingers and a drain having a plurality of drain fingers interleaved with the source fingers. An active mesa region is defined between at least one of the plurality of source fingers and an adjacent at least one of the plurality of drain fingers. A plurality of gates are disposed between the at least one of the plurality of source fingers and the adjacent at least one of the plurality of drain fingers. At least one of gates extends into the active mesa region from outside of the active mesa region and terminates within the active mesa region.
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for quantizing an interference profile for a wireless telecommunication system along a path that a moving device takes, comprising: by the moving device, obtaining, during a measurement windows, measurements related to interference, processing the measurements performed during the measurement window to obtain for consecutive time periods of the measurement window at least a quantized interference related value and a weight representative of the number of measurements made within the time period index which have the same quantitized interference-related value, and transferring feedback information, by the server, receiving the feedback information, determining the location of the moving device along the path which corresponds to the measurement window, and converting the feedback information in a format of a database composed of a matrix comprising locations and interference quantization values, updating the database with the converted feedback information.
Abstract: The technology provides a mobile communication device having separable components, including a control module configured for only short-range wireless communication and a docking station module configured for both long-range wireless communication and short-range wireless communication. The control module includes a touch-sensitive display, a short-range wireless transceiver and a processor that electrically couples the touch-sensitive display and the short-range wireless transceiver. The docking station module includes a docking area that receives the control module, a docking short-range wireless transceiver configured to communicate with the control module, a long-range wireless transceiver that is configured to communicate with a long-range network and a docking processor that electrically couples the docking short-range wireless transceiver and the long-range wireless transceiver. The technology provides a sleek light-weight control module having full functionality of the docking station module.
