Abstract: A drug transfer adapter includes a body having a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end, a transfer spike extending from the body and defining an opening, with the transfer spike configured to pierce a closure of a container, a connector extending from the body, and a securing member extending from the body. The securing member has a first side and a second side positioned opposite the first side, with the first side of the securing member including an adhesive surface configured to secure the body to a container.
Abstract: A lid for an ostomy implant is provided. A base includes an attachment means for attachment to the implant and a sliding part. The sliding part is arranged such that when the sliding part is slid along a first sliding route, the sliding part causes the lid to be attachable to or detachable from the implant, and when the sliding part is slid along a second sliding route, the sliding part causes the lid to open, for evacuating a stoma to which the ostomy implant is connected, and closed, for preventing leaks from the stoma, while the lid remains attached to the implant.

Abstract: Polymeric compositions, methods, and delivery devices for inhibiting bleeding are disclosed. Abstract: The techniques of this disclosure generally relate to an assembly including a single multibranch stent device. The single multibranch stent device includes a main body, a proximal coupling extending radially from the main body, and a distal coupling extending radially from the main body. The main body, the proximal coupling, and the distal coupling are permanently coupled to one another and the single multibranch stent device is a single piece. Abstract: A visualized surgical assembly is provided, characterized in that the visualized surgical assembly includes a disposable drainage tube and a functional tube for providing visualization function, the disposable drainage tube and the functional tube are connected detachable along the axial of the tube body, and the functional tube is provided with a self-destructive part for cutting the disposable drainage tube. A corresponding endoscope is also provided. The visualized surgical assembly is a combination structure of the disposable drainage tube and the functional tube which can provide visualization function. The disposable drainage tube can removable connect with the functional tube, and the functional tube can be repeated disinfection, which can reduce the cost and avoid the risk of cross infection.

Abstract: A cannula holder capable of securing a cannula to the holder at the time of piercing work, and easily removing the cannula from the holder using tweezers or the like. The cannula holder, to which a piercing needle for piercing an eyeball and a cannula are attached when attaching the cannula used in ophthalmic operations to the eyeball, includes claw portions that are formed on a front end of the cannula holder and which press sides of the cannula either at positions where said claw portions face each other or from multiple directions. Abstract: Dual vial adapter assemblages having a triple component construction as follows: a first vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a drug vial, a second vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a liquid vial and a tubular liquid transfer coupler for coupling the first vented female vial adapter and the second vented female vial adapter for establishing a dual sealed lumen arrangement therebetween. The dual sealed lumen arrangement includes a central sealed liquid lumen for gravitational flow of liquid contents from a liquid vial to a drug vial and a sealed air lumen radial outward from the central sealed liquid lumen for venting air displaced from the drug vial to the liquid vial for assisting the gravitational flow of liquid contents by creating a closed system between the liquid vial and the drug vial.
Abstract: An applicator for ophthalmic solutions in single-dose containers includes a structure, an oval rim, a container attachment portion, a hollow and flat support base, and additional features. The structure with open spaces is for inserting, removing, and pressing the single-dose container and allowing the label and the contents of the container to be viewed. The oval rim has a concave upper lip and a concave lower lip to facilitate the positioning of the applicator at an angle between 30 and 60° with respect to a horizontal plane. The features of the applicator enable the device to be used easily, ergonomically, comfortably, and ensure a safe use of the single-dose container in applications after the first use.
Abstract: A device for percutaneous venous valve repair generally including a catheter and a retractable and extendable member for deploying an object that affixes a portion of a venous valve leaflet to an adjacent vein wall. A related method for percutaneous venous valve repair is revealed to include percutaneously inserting a device as described herein into a peripheral vasculature of a living subject so as to affix at least a portion of a leaflet of a venous valve to an adjacent vein wall.

Abstract: In some aspects, the present disclosure provides a delivery device for delivering a detachable medical implant that comprises an elongated delivery member and a first engagement portion. The first engagement portion comprises a first proximal-facing surface, a first distal-facing surface, and a first lumen that is configured to accommodate an activation wire, wherein at least 50% of a surface area of the first proximal-facing surface is angled away from a proximal end of the first engagement portion. Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering a device for regulating blood pressure between a patient's left atrium and right atrium are provided. The delivery apparatus may include a first catheter, a hub having one or more engagers disposed thereon configured to releasably engage with a first expandable end of the shunt in a contracted delivery state within a lumen of a sheath, and a second catheter extending through a center lumen of the first catheter and the hub, wherein the first catheter, the hub, and the second catheter are independently moveable relative to the sheath. The inventive devices may reduce left atrial pressure and left ventricular end diastolic pressure, and may increase cardiac output, increase ejection fraction, relieve pulmonary congestion, and lower pulmonary artery pressure, among other benefits. The inventive devices may be used, for example, to treat subjects having heart failure, pulmonary congestion, or myocardial infarction, among other pathologies.
