Abstract: A printing unit for rotary printing press includes an inking unit and a print cylinder carrying a print form suitable for the reception of water based inks. The printing unit also includes a blanket cylinder carrying a printing blanket and a cooling unit for maintaining an ink carrying surface of one or more of the print form, the printing blanket, and the inking unit at a predetermined temperature which is suitable for printing with water-based inks.

Abstract: A sheet-guiding drum for use in printing machines and having gripper links spaced uniformly around the periphery of the drum. Gripper contact strips of the gripper links are adjusted uniformly in order to accommodate different printing material thicknesses. Such adjustment is achieved by the provision of a drive motor in the journal of the drum, the drive motor being connected by a coupling to adjusters which extend radially from the center of the drum. Each adjuster moves a rod axially of the drum and effects radial adjustment of the associated contact strip by virtue of co-acting wedges carried by the rod and the contact strip.

Abstract: A face chamber for use with a continuous positive airways pressure apparatus to treat a patient comprising a housing with a pressure chamber and a face receiving opening to fit over the patient's face, a seal to seal the patient's face to the housing so that the patient breathes into said pressure chamber, an inlet connector for connecting the output of the continuous positive airways pressure apparatus to the pressure chamber, and control valves for controlling the discharge of gases from the face chamber.
