Abstract: A mobile station (MS) communicates with a base station (BS) by a carrier aggregation using a plurality of downlink component carriers (DCCs). The MS receives on one or more activated DCCs. The MS receives using a PDCCH on one of activated DCCs, from the BS, first information including an information field for requesting a transmission of channel state information (CSI), the first information being used for scheduling of a PUSCH. The MS transmits using the PUSCH in a first subframe on an uplink component carrier, to the BS, first CSI for more than one activated DCCs. The MS transmits using the PUSCH in a second subframe on the uplink component carrier, to the BS, second CSI for only one activated downlink component carrier. The transmission of the second CSI is scheduled by the first information received using the PDCCH on the only one activated downlink component carrier.

  • Patent number: 11646958
Abstract: Multipath hosts with the ability to detect path latency, report latency values on paths between the Latency Detecting (LD) host and a set of storage systems. The detected latency values are used by the storage system to create a data structure correlating path information with the detected latency values. When hosts without the ability to detect path latencies (non-LD hosts) connect to the storage systems, the path information about paths used by the non-LD hosts is used to determine reported latency values for paths with similar path information, to generate presumed latency values for the paths used by the non-LD hosts. Where paths used by non-LD hosts have higher latency values, the storage system sets a path attribute value, such as an ALUA state for the path, to signal non-LD hosts to preferentially use paths with lower presumed latency values.

  • Patent number: 11582140
Abstract: A node of a network configured to forward packets based on network programming instructions encoded in the packets, performs a method. The method includes generating a probe packet encoded with a replication network programming instruction. The replication network programming instruction is configured to validate equal-cost multi-path (ECMP) routing in the network from the node to a destination by remotely triggering transit nodes of the network, that are traversed by the probe packet, to each perform replicate-and-forward actions. The replicate-and-forward actions include: identifying ECMP paths toward the destination; generating, for the ECMP paths, replicated probe packets that each include the replication network programming instruction; and forwarding the replicated probe packets along the ECMP paths. The method further includes forwarding the probe packet toward the destination.
