    Abstract: A tooth brush device comprising an elongated body having first and second end portions and an intermediate portion between the end portions, bristles at the first end portion of the body providing a brush while the second end portion provides a handle for the tooth brush device. The intermediate portion of the body has a chamber for receiving a spool of dental floss to be dispensed by the device through an opening extending within the second end portion, and the body includes a window for monitoring the presence of dental floss within the chamber of the body. The window of the body may also be provided by an opening to the chamber and a transparent window cover removably secured with the body enclosing the opening. The cover includes spool retaining structure which is received within the chamber for rotatably retaining within the chamber a spool of dental floss for the dispensing of floss by the device.

    Abstract: A manicure shield is set forth provided with an elongate convex shield to overlie a fingernail to prevent inadvertent contact with a nail and a foreign object during a drying procedure subsequent to the applying of a liquid convering and the like. The shield is formed with a plurality of parallel downwardly depending legs pivotally mounted to an upper, relatively rigid polymeric ring integrally secured to a lower resilient recircling ring for securement about a finger adjacent an associated fingernail of an individual. The lower ring may alternatively be defined by a pair of resiliently biased legs for securement to an individual's finger. A flexible tab secured to an upper surface of the upper ring is in contact with the rear convex surface of the shield to maintain the shield in an upper or lowered position.

    Abstract: A compact case designed with a technique of enabling a cosmetic material to be discharged always smoothly while maintaining the desired performance of sealing the cosmetic material to prevent the same from hardening. A flat plate is disposed movably in a case body, and a sealed sack to be filled with the cosmetic material is disposed under this flat plate. A pump capable of being driven by the flat plate to discharge the cosmetic material is provided in the sealed sack. The pump has a discharge hole formed in the flat plate. A cover is stretched over the upper surface of the flat plate to cover the discharge hole. A slit is formed in the cover so as to communicate with the discharge hole.

    Abstract: This nail polish kit is designed to provide color and protection to fingernails with little effort on the part of a user. Primarily, it consists of a very thin colored body with a rounded end for substantail mating engagement with the cuticle of a person's finger. There are a multiple number of these articles in a kit and each is adhered to two paper strips that are peeled away to apply the body to the fingernails of a person's hand. The opposite end of the colored body also extends past the front of the fingernail for using scissors to cut it to conform to the curved extending end of the fingernail.
