  • Patent number: 11250175
Abstract: A spatial-information generation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a reference-plane acquirer, a simplification-section setter, and a shape simplifier. The reference-plane acquirer acquires, on the basis of a first spatial object related to a first space, first attribute information indicating attributes of the first spatial object, and first relation information indicating a relation between the first spatial object and objects of other constituent elements of the building, a reference plane object related to a plane of a part of the first space from the first spatial object and generates a shape of the reference plane object. The simplification-section setter sets a simplification section, which is a target to be simplified, in the shape of the reference plane object. The shape simplifier simplifies the shape of the reference plane object in the simplification section to thereby generate the reference plane object in the simplified shape.

  • Patent number: 11227080
Abstract: An industrial data presentation system leverages structured data types defined on industrial devices to generate and deliver meaningful presentations of industrial data. Industrial devices are configured to support structured data types referred to as basic information data types (BIDTs) comprising a finite set of structured information data types, including a rate data type, a state data type, an odometer data type, and an event data type. The BIDTs are discoverable by a gateway device on which models of industrial assets can be defined, where the models reference the BIDTs defined on the industrial devices. The gateway device can retrieve industrial data from the data tags, formatted in accordance with the data types and associated user-defined metadata specific to the respective data types. The gateway device or a separate application server system can then generate graphical presentations of the industrial data in accordance with the model and the metadata.

  • Patent number: 11176288
Abstract: A computing device, including a processor configured to execute a physics engine. At a first time step, the physics engine may, for a first body located at a first position, determine a non-collision region bounded on a side by a separation plane such that when the first body is within the non-collision region, the first body does not collide with a second body. The physics engine may apply lossy compression to the separation plane to generate a compressed separation plane, and may determine a first conservative distance vector between the first body and the compressed separation plane. At a second time step, the physics engine may move the first body to a second position, determine a second conservative distance vector between the first body and the compressed separation plane, and translate the compressed separation plane based on the second position and the second conservative distance vector.

  • Patent number: 11023626
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and apparatus for automating design, analysis, and product management synchronization in a model-based systems engineering environment. An analysis template is linked to a system architecture representing a product to be manufactured. A set of properties for an architectural element of the system architecture is extracted based on an analysis instance created from the analysis template. The set of properties is converted into a variable input-output structure. An analysis is run using the variable input-output structure to generate results. The results are linked to the analysis instance such that the analysis instance provides a time-based record of the analysis; to the system architecture to update a set of architectural elements impacted by the results; and to a product management tool, thereby synchronizing the design, the analysis, and the product management of the product to improve an efficiency in the design and manufacturing of the product.

  • Patent number: 10871413
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a pressure sensor is shown, wherein the pressure sensor comprises a port element with a sealing structure and a membrane. Four strain gages will be attached to the membrane. The gages are used in a Wheatstone bridge to sense the fluid pressure. A first finite element action determines a first contour around the membrane central axis with equal compressive strain and a second contour around the membrane central axis with equal tensile strain wherein when fluid pressure is applied to the membrane strain on the first contour is opposite strain on the second contour. A second finite element action determines the four positions of the strain gages on the first and second contour such that the difference between the highest error signal and the lowest error signal at the output of the Wheatstone bridge is minimal under influence of parasitic forces.
