Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to question and answer management in a collaborative environment, and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and apparatus for synchronizing questions and answers in an instant messaging session. In one embodiment of the invention, a method of synchronizing questions and answers in an instant messaging session can be provided. The method can include maintaining an instant messaging session between first and second participants, identifying questions and answers in the instant messaging text, matching each of the answers to a corresponding one of the questions, and displaying the matched questions and answers supplementally to the displaying of the chat transcript, ensuring that a participant does not overlook a question where response on their part is required.

Abstract: A virtual private router (VPR) intercepts DNS requests and returns a pseudo IP address to the requesting application and the pseudo IP address is mapped to a domain name in the request. Requests for content including the pseudo IP address are modified to include the corresponding domain name and transmitted to an intermediary server, which resolves the domain name to a real IP address and forwards the content request. The content is received by the intermediary server, which returns it to the requesting application, such as by way of the VPR. Real IP addresses may be returned by the intermediary server such that subsequent content requests to the domain name may bypass the intermediary server. Content requests may be sent to the intermediary server, which may instruct the VPR to bypass the server when bypass is needed.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide method for implementing a logical router of a logical network. The method receives a configuration for a first logical router. The configuration includes a static route for the first logical router. The method defines several routing components with separate routing tables for the logical router. The method adds a first route, having a first static route type, for the static route to the routing tables of at least a first subset of the routing components. Based on the connection of a second logical router to the first logical router, adding a second route, having a second static route type, to the routing tables of at least a second subset of the routing components.

Abstract: This disclosure pertains to device-monitoring systems, and in particular (but not exclusively) to detecting and deterring unauthorized use of electronic systems at distinct locations and during specific time periods. An apparatus consistent with the present disclosure includes logic, at least partially implemented in hardware, to receive an entrance message. The entrance message may include at least one policy for the manner to which a device is to be operated when present within a device restricted area. The apparatus may also include logic to send an acknowledgement notification to indicate receipt of the entrance message and an agreement to abide by the at least one policy. Furthermore, the apparatus may also include logic to detect an attempt to execute an action contrary to the at least one policy.

The casing may be spaced apart from the consumer appliance. The controller may be selectively connected to the consumer appliance. The controller may be configured to direct a service operation. Moreover, the service operation may include receiving non-functional character data from the consumer appliance at the diagnostic tool, assigning an appliance configuration manifest to the consumer appliance based on the received non-functional character data, determining a service action based on the appliance configuration manifest, and initiating the determined service action at the diagnostic tool.

Abstract: A method of modeling relationships between e-mail users. The method includes extracting a record of e-mail exchanges between the users. The record is extracted from at least one of an e-mail server and an e-mail transfer agent. The data is extracted through a direct internet access protocol. The method includes filtering the record to produce relevant interaction data based on the e-mail exchanges between two users. Relevant interaction data includes a number of e-mail exchanges between the users and includes a ratio of source to target and target to source interactions. The method includes loading the relevant interaction data into a relationship modeling program, which assigns a weight to each of a plurality of characteristics of the relevant interaction data and provides a model of relationships between the e-mail users based at least in part on the weight of each characteristic. The plurality of characteristics comprises interaction volume.

The HA system may also include HA hub devices within the structure to provide communications for the cloud media content server, HA user interface devices, and HA operation devices. A designated HA hub device may download media content from the cloud media content server and push the downloaded media content to other HA user interface devices within the structure so that the other HA user interface devices do not communicate with the cloud media content server relating to the downloaded media content.

Each reply grouping has one or more child reply messages depending from a common parent message. The child reply messages within each reply grouping are ordered in chronological order based on the time of each of the one or more child reply messages was received or sent. The reply groupings are hierarchically ordering based on a relationship between the reply grouping and its parent message. A single display allows a user to view the message thread and the content of all of the messages in accordance with the hierarchical ordering.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a centralized network analytic device, the centralized network analytic device efficiently uses on-chip memory to flexibly perform counting, traffic rate monitoring and flow sampling. The device includes a pool of memory that is shared by all cores and packet processing stages of each core. The counting, the monitoring and the sampling are all defined through software allowing for greater flexibility and efficient analytics in the device. In some embodiments, the device is a network switch.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for managing peering relationships and applying peering policy between service providers and content distribution networks. Aspects discussed herein relate to establishing secure peering connections between service providers to exchange application and/or network information. In some embodiments, an application peering manager may apply peering policy based on token information or other suitable information configured to uniquely identify an application and/or subscriber. In other embodiments, policy enforcement points or other elements residing within a network may be configured to accept and/or apply peering policy to application sessions.

Abstract: Technology for a publish-subscribe messaging method may include determining a schema for structuring raw data published in a publication by a publisher in a publish-subscribe system at a channel node in a network and distributing the schema from the channel node to other channel nodes in the network. The method may include identifying the publication from the publisher at one of the channel nodes and applying the schema to the raw data of the publication at the channel node, transforming the raw data to transformed data. The transformed data may be provided at a subscriber in the publish-subscribe system.
