Abstract: A service running on a server for developing software collaboratively. The service includes accessing at least one repository of code for software applications. A code tree structure is extracted from the repository which represents a plurality of preexisting pipeline requirements to be used with a tree kernel similarity algorithm. At least one development repository of code is accessed. A code tree structure is extracted from the development repository of code which represents a new pipeline requirement to be used with a tree kernel similarity algorithm. A tree kernel similarity algorithm is used that includes a specified similarity function to create feature map between the new pipeline requirements with the preexisting pipeline requirements. One or more features of the new pipe line requirements are clustered. Different requirements are extracted to different definitions based upon the features that have been clustered. A preexisting pipeline requirement is selected for a highest similarity.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for tracking user activity with products in an environment. In an embodiment, a processor detects that a user has entered an environment, and responsively uniquely identifies the user. The processor determines that the user interacts with a product of a plurality of products within the environment, and responsively updates a profile of the user with indicia of the product. The processor determines whether the user is attempting to exit the environment, and, in response to determining that the user is attempting to exit the environment, prompts the user to confirm that the user intends to remove the product from the environment based on the updated profile. The processor receives input from the user confirming that the user intends to remove the product from the environment, and responsively further updates the profile based on the input.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for altering a start time of an event based on indicia of how late event attendees will be for the event that are retrieved from location applications corresponding to each attendee of the attendees. For example, a media guidance application may determine a start time of an event, a location of the event, and attendees of the event. The media guidance application may determine location applications corresponding to the attendees. The media guidance application may query the location applications for arrival times of each attendee. The media guidance application may calculate a plurality of differences between each of the arrival times and the start time of the event. Based on the plurality of differences, the media guidance application may delay the start time of the event.

Abstract: A system and method for transportation services includes receiving customer preference data of a customer, including one or more favorite drivers or one or more preferred drivers, and one or more preset service zones for one or more drivers. In response to receipt of a service request, the system retrieves a set of driver data related to at least one favorite driver or preferred driver of the customer associated with one or more of the preset service zones containing a pickup location or a drop off location of the service request. One of the favorite drivers or preferred drivers of the customer is selected from the set based on compatibility. Preset service limitation data of drivers and blacklists of both a customer and one or more drivers are additionally or alternatively used to determine compatibility or incompatibility of drivers with a customer for matching purposes.

Abstract: A worker resource management system may include a voice-directed mobile terminal that enables a dialog between a user and the voice-directed mobile terminal. At least one computer may be in communication with the mobile terminal. The computer can include a worker resource management module that receives and records user activity from the voice-directed mobile terminal. The worker resource management module can identify user productivity patterns and provide work assessment predictions based at least in part upon the user activity that is received and recorded. Management can make worker resource decisions in response to the user productivity patterns identified or the work assessment predictions provided by the worker resource management module.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a user device, a request for a recommendation identifying one or more tasks to be performed, of a set of tasks that are part of a job for an organization and associated with managing a set of applications for a product or a service. The device may generate the recommendation by using a data model that has been trained using one or more machine learning techniques to process data identifying a set of application status metrics based on application status data for the set of applications, and events data identifying real-time events associated with the group of sites. The device may provide the recommendation for display on an interface of the user device. The device may perform one or more actions associated with assisting in performance of at least one of the one or more tasks.

Abstract: A pick rate planning system is utilized to determine pick rates needed for the picking of items in a materials handling facility. Critical pull times (“CPTs”) are determined which indicate times by which items must be picked from inventory. A picking capacity of the materials handling facility is determined and pick rates are allocated as corresponding to regions of the picking capacity that are associated with the CPTs. As part of the allocating of the pick rates, regions of the picking capacity may have portions that result in a level filling of the picking capacity that minimizes spikes and other undesirable fluctuations.

Abstract: Some examples include a service to receive a job request that includes a job, a priority of the job, and a callback that identifies an application to execute the job. The application may be hosted by a particular virtual machine of a plurality of virtual machines being executed in a cloud hosting facility. The service may add the job request to a queue and determine, using a machine learning algorithm, a risk score associated with the job. Based at least in part on the risk score, the service may send a provisioning request to the cloud hosting facility to provision one or more additional virtual machines. After determining that the application has completed executing the job, the service may send a de-provisioning request to the cloud hosting facility to de-provision at least one virtual machine of the one or more additional virtual machines.

Abstract: A computer system for processing vehicle ownership support data includes an infrastructure platform which includes a plurality of hardware and software components, infrastructure services, APIs, and SDKs adapted to communicate in a communication network. The infrastructure platform receives telematics data such as vehicle identification data, driving performance data, vehicle operation data and vehicle sensor data for a corresponding vehicle. Such telematics data can be received from a vehicle device (Onboard Device (OBD)), or from a cloud-based telematics platform. The infrastructure platform identifies vehicle ownership support services associated with the at least one vehicle and analyzes the received telematics data associated with the identified services. The infrastructure platform provides vehicle ownership support services to a mobile application accessible at a customer's mobile device associated with the vehicle or the customer.

Abstract: Systems and methods of automated personalized guidance include the evaluation of interaction content data. At least one automated guidance is assigned to an agent based upon the evaluation. The automated guidance is defined by at least one interaction type and at least one guidance trigger. Interaction content data is monitored to identify instances of the interaction type and the guidance trigger. Upon identification of the interaction type and the guidance trigger, the automated guidance is automatedly provided. The automated guidance is then evaluated based upon the interaction content data.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are aspects of a staff scheduling system for preparing a staffing schedule report for secondary education campuses of a school district. In one embodiment, a staff scheduler comprises at least one interface for receiving a plurality of inputs from at least one external computing device; and a processor configured to perform a staff scheduling algorithm to generate a staffing schedule report for the secondary education campuses, wherein the staff scheduling algorithm generates a series of input prompts and decisions based on the plurality of inputs. The plurality of inputs includes at least courses requested by students at each campus, current teachers available in the district, current teachers' qualifications, campus facility information, which courses may be shared at multiple campuses, and which staff may be shared by multiple campuses.

The method includes identifying via a plurality of integrated computer sensor devices within a work management computing system, work types associated with computer based work functions executed by multiple work execution computing systems connected to a work management computing system. Specified work functions of the computer based work functions are defined and multiple interfaces connected between the multiple work execution computing systems and the work management computing system are identified. Groups of the specified work functions are consolidated based on associated work types and each group is modified based on update data. Resources associated with execution of each group are optimized and resource staffing plan associated with resources is generated.

Abstract: Systems and methods are shown for routing task objects to multiple agents that involve receiving and storing real-time sensor data for multiple agents, receiving tasks and, for each task, create a task object representing the task and placing the task object in an input buffer. For each task object in the input buffer, utilize the real-time sensor data to identify one or more of the multiple agents as suitable for assignment to the task, apply a routing strategy to the task object to further select one of the multiple agents identified as suitable for assignment of the task object based on sensor data, and route the task object from the input buffer to a workbin corresponding to the selected agent.

Abstract: A companion advertisement is displayed on a control client which is also used to control the content being shown on a display client. The companion advertisement is related to a video or advertisement being displayed on the display client. Such a companion advertisement takes advantage of previously unused screen real estate and enables the user to interact with the advertisement or view further information without any interruption of the content being displayed on the display client. A server keeps the content displayed on the display client and control client synchronized. The server recognizes when a user is logged into both a display client and a control client and notifies the control client that an advertisement should be displayed. The control client then retrieves an advertisement related to the content on the display client.
