Abstract: A mobile device presents representations of payment accepting unit events on a display, by identifying a payment accepting unit that is available to accept payment, displaying a visual indication of the payment accepting unit, and accepting user input to receive selection of the payment accepting unit and trigger payment, establishing a wireless communication path including the mobile device and the payment accepting unit, enabling user interaction with the user interface to complete the transaction, exchanging information with the available payment accepting unit via the one or more radio transceivers in conjunction with the transaction, and displaying an updated user interface of the mobile payment application.

Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to Spend Limit Systems for gas-station refuel transactions. An exemplary system may receive vehicle information identifying a customer's vehicle and identify associated vehicle characteristics (e.g., gas tank size). The system may identify a known gas-station transaction geographic region for the customer. When the customer (or a fraudster) attempts to purchase gas, the system may receive a transaction request and, in response, set a single transaction limit sufficient to fill the gas tank size with gas and an associated spend limit. The system may also determine whether the merchant location falls within the known gas-station transaction geographic region. When it does, the system may approve the transaction request up to the spend limit. Otherwise, the system may perform one or more fraud prevention actions to authenticate the customer and either approve or deny the transaction request up to the spend limit and/or selectively perform fraud mitigation action(s).

Abstract: A system and method for adding a virtual credit account to a mobile device is disclosed. The system receives a contact information for a customer at a store's electronic device, the contact information comprising: at least one of a device identifier (ID) and a user ID, the contact information being part of a request for a pre-existing credit account to be added to the customer's mobile device. An access to an account lookup/verification for the pre-existing credit account is provided to the customer's mobile device, the access generate an out-of-band verification. the request for the pre-existing credit account to be added to the customer's mobile device in conjunction with the out-of-band verification is provided by the customer's mobile device. The pre-existing credit account is then added to the customer's mobile device in a digital format allowing the customer to make a purchase.

Abstract: A method of processing a virtual money order transaction includes establishing an account for a first user having a first user device and receiving from a second user device, a virtual money order purchase request identifying the first user as a payee, an amount, and payment information. A transfer of a payment amount from a second user account to a transaction processor account is processed and a virtual money order is generated with associated information accessible at a network address. A notification including the network address is transmitted to the first user device and a request to receive the money order information is received via the network address. Responsive to verification that the requester is authorized, the information is transmitted to the first user device. A redemption request is received and a transfer of the money order amount from the transaction data account to the redemption requester is processed.

Abstract: Risk assessment can be performed in many contexts including in lending. A set of metrics can be received and derived from data associated with a party, such as a third-party retailer or dealer, with respect to performance of an activity. A subset of metrics can be identified that exceed a threshold of acceptable performance. Weights can be applied to at least the subset of metrics that captures significance of corresponding metrics. A single weighted score can be computed from aggregation of the weighted subset of metrics, and a third party can be classified based on comparison of the weighted score to a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A system for reconciling invoices includes: an input port receiving benefits information related to insurance benefits recipients and invoices from one or more benefits vendors; a rules engine enforcing rules on the benefits information, the rules engine being configured to monitor the benefits information for determining exceptions based on the rules; a processing unit including a reconciliation module, the reconciliation module analyzing and comparing each invoice against the benefits information to detect any inaccuracies in each invoice, the inaccuracies being designated as exceptions. For each invoice where there is at least one exception, the processing unit is configured to determine whether to include, exclude, or modify the invoice based on a feedback signal from a client device. In response to the feedback signal indicating exclude, the processing unit calculates an adjusted invoice amount by excluding at least one fee associated with the at least one exception.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for facilitating shopping for products that have been liked to a social media network. A product can be seen on a merchant's website, for example. The product can be liked by user to the social media website. When the same or a different user subsequently sees the liked product on the social media website, the same or different user can purchase the product from the social media website. Thus, the user is not required to visit the merchant's website to perform the purchase transaction. Upon completion of the purchase, the user can be allowed to leave feedback to rate the item according to a predefined scale, which can be visible to all those who view the item, as exhibited by a vendor on the social media platform.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authorizing a blockchain transaction. A verification network receives a transaction request for the blockchain transaction from a payer device including a first signature generated by a first private key associated with a payer. The verification network broadcasts a verification request to verification system(s) which assess pre-agreed threshold parameters. If the parameter(s) are satisfied, at least one verification system perfects the transaction by generating a second signature using a second private key, and broadcasts the transaction to the blockchain network. If the parameter(s) are not satisfied, verification offer(s) from among the verification system(s) including the second signature(s) are used to prompt the payer device to confirm the blockchain transaction by selecting at least one of the offer(s).

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media relate to smartcard biometric enrollment. In an embodiment that does not require a user to visit a central location to provide fingerprint images, an activation code corresponding to a unique ID that uniquely identifies a user of a service is generated and sent to the user. In response, at least one finger image is received from a user device. The image is processed to isolate a fingerprint image, which is used to generate a biometric template that is sent to a smartcard manufacturer and used to configure a smartcard for biometric authentication of the user. In another embodiment, a kiosk/ATM provides smartcard biometric enrollment by detecting a smartcard in the smartcard reader, verifying an ID of a user associated with the smartcard, capturing a biometric image from the user, processing the biometric image to generate a biometric template, and storing the biometric template on the smartcard.

Abstract: Methods and systems for multivariable reconciliation of trust accounts are disclosed. The methods and systems can include acquiring transaction data for transactions in one or more trust accounts including a plurality of extrinsic variables. A plurality of variable ledgers can be produced from the transaction data and the extrinsic variables, including an account transaction ledger, a customer transaction ledger, and a job transaction ledger. The plurality of variable ledgers can then be reconciled internally and amongst the other variable ledgers. The reconciled overlapping data between the account transaction ledger, the customer transaction ledger, and the job transaction ledger, can then be incorporated to produce a multivariable ledger, which can be presented to or analyzed by an operator through an input device.
