Abstract: An identity management device and system. The device comprises a processor operably coupled to a memory, a display, and a communication interface. The device can have stored thereupon instructions that, when executed by processor, cause the processor to implement a user device interface configured to receive, from user device through the communication interface and store in the memory, at least one identification record comprising visually depictable identification data and a user interface configured to update the display to depict the visually depictable identification data. The identification record can comprise authentication data. Authentication data can be displayed on the device or securely transmitted.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for structuring and analyzing a fixed-income security are disclosed. The fixed-income security includes a coupon that provides at least a variable rate of interest payment over a time interval. The variable rate of interest payment may be based at least in part on a set of environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) goals defined for an issuer over the time interval. A set of ESG values associated with performance of the issuer and corresponding to the set of ESG goals may be reported, independently audited, and used to determine the variable rate of interest payment provided by the security.

Abstract: A system and method for combining at least two similarly managed credit accounts into a single ONE card account is described. The system identifies a given cardholder having a plurality of similarly managed credit accounts. Generates a single ONE card account for the given cardholder. Incorporates the plurality of similarly managed credit accounts into the single ONE card account. Manages any future transactions for each of the plurality of similarly managed credit accounts via the single ONE card account. Provides, to the given cardholder, a single ONE card account statement, the single ONE card account statement containing information previously provided separately by each of the plurality of similarly managed credit accounts.

Abstract: Various embodiments are described herein for methods, devices and systems that can be used to track at least one emission type generated, directly or indirectly, by an entity. In one example embodiment, the system includes an emission tracking device coupled to the entity, where the emission tracking device receives a first emission data received at a first time and a second emission data received at a second time after implementation of one or more emission reduction steps. The system further includes an external processor in communication with the emission tracking device, where the external processor is configured to analyze the first emission data to determine an emission baseline, analyze the second emission data to determine a second emission output value, and determine an emission offset measurement corresponding to the at least one emission type based on the emission baseline and the second emission output value.

Abstract: In a method for detecting unauthorized or suspicious financial activity, a graph convolutional network for financial crime prevention, a separate node is created for each entity: each account, each person, each address (e.g. email address), etc. Separate attributes are provided to aggregate transactions in which the node acts as a sender; transactions in which the node acts as a receiver; transactions using a specific channel (e.g. ATM); and transactions of a specific type (e.g. online money transfer). In some embodiments, the attributes exclude data on individual transactions to reduce the amount of data and hence provide more effective computer utilization. The approach is suitable for many applications, including anti-money laundering. Other features are also provided, as well as systems for such detection.

The method includes obtaining a notice indicating that a deferred payment has been selected for a settlement of a price of a product on a website; identifying a seller to which the settlement is to be made; receiving a request for settlement on an amount of money determined based on information including information on delivery of the product and information on the price of the product; and advancing the settlement in a case where the amount of money is less than or equal to an upper limit of an amount of settlement using the deferred payment allowed for a user.

Abstract: An electronic newsletter distribution system useful in association with a water agency management platform provides information exchange for administering groundwater extraction rights in one or more trading-zones. The platform matches offers to trade utilization of groundwater extraction rights (GWRs), and intermediates transfers of the matched GWRs based one or more transfer rules. The system also facilitates trading of “sell order” and “buy order” in response to the water pricing and water offering information.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more loan origination systems can obtain, from a credit reporting system, credit report data for a mortgage loan applicant. The one or more loan origination systems can determine that the mortgage loan applicant does not qualify for a mortgage loan product based on the credit report data obtained from the credit reporting system. The one or more mortgage loan origination systems can obtain data representing a non-mortgage loan product for which the mortgage loan applicant qualifies based on the credit report data. The one or more loan origination systems can generate a modified version of the mortgage loan applicant's credit report data based on the non-mortgage loan product and determine that the mortgage loan applicant would qualify for the mortgage loan product based on the modified version of the credit report data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media relate to smartcard biometric enrollment. In an embodiment that does not require a user to visit a central location to provide fingerprint images, an activation code corresponding to a unique ID that uniquely identifies a user of a service is generated and sent to the user. In response, at least one finger image is received from a user device. The image is processed to isolate a fingerprint image, which is used to generate a biometric template that is sent to a smartcard manufacturer and used to configure a smartcard for biometric authentication of the user. In another embodiment, a kiosk/ATM provides smartcard biometric enrollment by detecting a smartcard in the smartcard reader, verifying an ID of a user associated with the smartcard, capturing a biometric image from the user, processing the biometric image to generate a biometric template, and storing the biometric template on the smartcard.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for enabling an online service provider to process transaction requests according to a dual control workflow using multiple transaction processing systems that are only configured to process transaction requests according to a single control workflow. A dual control module is implemented between an interface server and the transaction processing systems. The dual control module may intercept transaction requests from the interface server. The dual control module may withhold transaction requests from being sent to any one of the transaction processing systems until a set of criteria is satisfied according to the dual control workflow. The dual control module may obtain approvals and/or denials from designated approvers. Once the set of criteria is satisfied for a transaction request, the dual control module may forward the transaction request to one of the transaction processing systems for processing.

Abstract: Computerized method requiring claim adjudication to receive patient payment for a product or service provided by a healthcare provider to a patient with full financial responsibility, including receiving a patient claim; re-pricing the claim, automatically initiating a real-time payment authorization request through a payment gateway; receiving a real-time notification that the patient's funding source has verified funds availability, with the funds to be deposited in a designated account for subsequent provider payment; sending the healthcare provider the copay and plan pay pricing edits; and concurrently, sending the patient a payment e-receipt electronically, indicating the total amount due and the amount debited from the patient's funding source, the plan payment, with any difference the copay to be paid directly to the provider.

Abstract: A method of processing a transaction between a customer and a merchant includes receiving from a mobile device of the customer or from another device of the customer an indication of consent to perform a cardless payment transaction with the merchant, receiving from the mobile device an indication that the customer is within a predetermined distance of the merchant, after receiving both the indication of consent and the indication that the customer is within the predetermined distance, sending to a computer system of the merchant an indication of the presence of the customer and personal identifying information for the customer, receiving data indicating a transaction between the customer and the merchant, and submitting the transaction to a financial service for authorization.

Abstract: A system, comprises a device including a memory with an application configured to validate data in an acquisition installed thereon, wherein the system is improved by the application being configured to electronically receive a query for a financial transaction between a first party and a second party, electronically transmit an encryption key from the second party to a third party, electronically transmit the encryption key from the second party to a data source and accessing a first set of a data associated with the financial transaction, electronically receive the first set of data associated with the financial transaction and validate the first set of data associated with the financial transaction by applying validation heuristics and output a finding report and provide the second party validation heuristic output in the finding report.

Abstract: An investigative system uses positioning information, such as global position system information, from a non-resident device used for communication with a correctional facility inmate. Therein, a correctional facility communications application program upon installation on a non-resident communication device, prompts the non-resident to grant a waiver for an investigative data aggregation and analysis system associated with at least one correctional facility to access positioning information provided by the non-resident communication device, and prompts the non-resident to grant location reporting permission on the non-resident communication device, prior to use of the non-resident communication device to communicate with a correctional facility inmate. The investigative data aggregation and analysis system, thereafter, captures position data collected by the non-resident communication device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention may provide users with an automated electronic trade matching system for orders to buy and sell fixed income instruments. Embodiments of the present invention may incentivize subscribers to enter unbiased, executable orders in their maximum desired size while discouraging and taming predatory behavior. Embodiments of the present invention may prevent individual subscriber order information from being revealed to other parties unless needed to facilitate the execution and clearance/settlement of subscriber orders or required by law or regulation.

The system may also include at least one processor that identifies an identity of a device based on a data packet received by the router from the device, generate an insurance policy that includes the device in response to identifying the identity of the device, and sends a notification indicative of the insurance policy to a computing device in response to generating the insurance policy.

Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed to analyzing intellectual-property data according to provide various intellectual property related services to organizations. In particular implementations, information related to products and/or services may be obtained from a number of data sources. Additionally, information related to intellectual-property assets, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and know-how, may be obtained. In various situations, the intellectual-property assets may be mapped to respective products and/or services. The mappings between the products and/or services and intellectual-property assets may be used to provide intellectual property related services that correspond to the intellectual-property assets, such as valuation services, strategy-related services, or risk-related services.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for assigning values to objects includes receiving a plurality of values for each of a plurality of base objects including a first and second base object; receiving a plurality of values for a first composite object associated with the first and second base objects; generating and storing in the memory a solution set including combinations of values of the first and second base objects; for each combination in the solution set, generating first transaction results by computing transactions between the values of the first and second base objects; comparing each of the first transaction results to a first range of values including the values of the first composite object; and removing, from the solution set and from the memory, the combinations of the values of the first and second base objects corresponding to the first transaction results that are outside of the first range of values.
