Abstract: A system and method for tracking digital assets associated with video games. The digital assets may be in-game digital assets, such as in-game items or characters. The digital assets may be video game digital media assets representing moments of gameplay of a video game, such as video clips or images. The digital asset is created, and a distributed ledger tracking a history of the digital asset is created and stored across devices. A unique token for the digital asset can include a unique identifier and metadata identifying properties of the digital asset. Changes to properties of the digital asset, such as ownership, visual appearance, or metadata, can be identified in a request to update the history. A new block can be generated for, and appended to, the distributed ledger identifying the changes to the history of the digital asset. The new block can include hashes of previous blocks.

Abstract: A volunteer reporting system is provided. The system includes a computer server having a memory storing organization data and user data and a user computing device coupled to the computer server. The computer server may be programmed to automatically determine an accumulated amount of time the user computing device has been within the proximity zone during a designated period of time less the time the user computing device is outside of the proximity zone until within the proximity zone and sensed and the server receives another signal during the designated period of time. Additionally, the system may generate a report of the location, time and accumulated amount of time the user computing device was within the proximity zone in response to receiving a request for the report.

Abstract: A system for interfacing predetermined services to a user at a fixed location includes a processing platform running an operating system. Also included are a plurality of physical system resource interfaces for interfacing with available physical system resources. The system further includes a data store for storing configuration information for enabling the operating system to interface with the available physical system resources through the physical system resource interface associated therewith. A communication resource for interfacing with the operating system allows communication of the operating system with a central office for downloading configuration information to selectively enable ones of the available physical system resources to interface with the operating system through associated ones of the physical system resource interfaces in accordance with the configuration information and the predetermined service selected by a user.

Abstract: A system for controlling and/or monitoring and/or visualizing construction sites, including a detection device for detecting the position of a construction unit at the construction site, wherein the detection device includes a signal transmitter to be mounted on the construction unit for providing an identification signal identifying the construction unit, and a signal evaluation device for receiving and evaluating the identification signal in order to determine the position of the construction unit at the construction site. The signal evaluation device includes at least one loop antenna that is laid at the construction site for receiving the identification signal of the signal transmitter and for determining the position of the signal transmitter.

Abstract: A wireless checkout system includes peripheral stations, a server that stores location information indicating a position coordinate of each of the peripheral stations, one or more base stations, and a mobile point-of-sale (POS) terminal. The mobile POS terminal includes a wireless communication interface configured to receive a wireless signal from the base stations, a display, and a processor. The processor designates one of the peripheral stations as an associated peripheral station, determines a position coordinate of the mobile POS terminal based on the wireless signal, selects, based on the determined position coordinate of the mobile POS terminal and the location information, another of peripheral stations that is closest to the mobile POS terminal to be an alternative peripheral station to be recommended for the checkout, when the associated peripheral station is not available, and then controls the display to display a screen indicating the alternative peripheral station.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein provide for facilitating in-person payments at a transaction kiosk. First, the system provides an authentication interface for display at a network-enabled transaction kiosk. A user is authenticated at the kiosk via the authentication interface, and based on that authentication, the system detects a payment application and a payment request corresponding to the user, wherein the payment application is associated with a service provider and the payment request was created with the payment application. Next, the system identifies a user interface scheme associated with the payment application, and then updates the user interface for display at the transaction kiosk to match the user interface scheme, then initiates a blockchain payment based on the payment request.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method reduces an amount of machine health data to be stored in a data storage device while preserving details of extrema values occurring within incremental measurement time intervals in an extended time period during which the data were collected. The method includes: sensing an operational characteristic of a machine and generating an operational characteristic signal; generating machine health parameter data that include amplitude values and associated time values; for each incremental measurement time interval, calculating an average value of the amplitude values, identifying a maximum value of the amplitude values, and identifying a minimum value of the amplitude values; and storing a compressed machine health parameter data set in the data storage device. The compressed machine health parameter data set includes the calculated average values and the identified maximum and minimum values for the incremental measurement time intervals.

Abstract: An article of manufacture is described as implemented in a mobile device having a lock screen wallpaper, where the mobile device maintains a profile storing authentication data associated with both a primary user of a mobile device and one or more secondary users that are authorized to use the mobile device. When the mobile device is at a business location, the secondary user(s) are non-intrusively authenticated as authorized user(s) of the mobile device. Upon successful authentication a scanning code is displayed over a lock screen wallpaper of the mobile device, where power is conserved in the mobile device by providing the scanning code to the secondary user(s) without unlocking the mobile device.

Abstract: A method and system for retail management of controlled substances is provided. Controlled substances such as alcohol or cannabis may be sold as products or served at a venue. The process of purchasing the controlled substance, or service of a controlled substance the current venue includes a customer presenting the controlled substance for purchase and providing a customer identifier. The point of sale device at the venue may send an authorization request to a processing server at a remote service, which may reply with an advisory response including information from a customer profile. Optionally, a system and method of retail management of controlled substances provides for a law enforcement system may send an investigation request comprising a vehicle identifier to the processing server, and in response an investigation response may be sent to the law enforcement system may be sent including information from the customer profile.

Abstract: A system may receive video of a damaged vehicle, perform image analysis of the video to determine one or more frames of the video that include a damaged portion of the vehicle, further analyze the one or more frames of the video that include a damaged portion of the vehicle to determine a damaged cluster of parts of the vehicle, determine whether the damaged cluster of parts should be repaired or replaced, map the damaged cluster of parts to one or more parts in a vehicle-specific database of parts, and generate, based on the mapping, a list of parts for repair or replacement.

Abstract: Dispensing and live inventory management system and methods are disclosed. A shelf for items has bins each with an associated sensor. A processor receives a detection signal from the sensor which indicates placement or removal an item(s) from an associated bin. An entry device sends an entered request for placement or removal of items to the processor, and an indicator strip has lights which uniquely identify each one of the bins when lit. The processor has information relating to which bin each subset of lights is associated, and causes activation of a subset of lights associated with a bin of the item(s) in the request and records in memory a type of action, a timestamp and a quantity of the item(s) placed or removed from the bin having the subset of lights lit and indicated in the detection signal subsequently received from the sensor of the associated bin.

A method includes providing an interactive storage device for attaching to a bin, and outputting, via an audiovisual element, a visual representation of a local inventory of the bin, receiving a user input, determining a change to the local inventory according to the user input, updating the local inventory in a non-volatile data store according to the change, synchronizing the local inventory with one or more nodes via a communication interface, and receiving, from the one or more nodes via the communication interface, periodic updates for a local cache comprising locations and inventories of one or more remote bins.
