  • Patent number: 6786361
Abstract: A primarily cylindrical beverage cooling despiser (10), devised of two separate portions, by which collectively make up the exterior and interior. The upper portion consists of two separate chambers, one interior chamber (14) for containment of ice for cooling, and one exterior chamber (12) for containment of beverage. Both chambers though mutually exclusive of each other, once filled with their intended containment by virtue of their connective proximity to one another associate a thermal communication with one another resulting in the cooling of contained beverage. Additionally the upper portion includes a lid (56), comprised as a common two-in-one combination lid. The bottom portion of the exterior is represented as the base (16), which supports the upper portions contents and additionally supports a tap/faucet (18), and tap/faucet handle (20) arrangement for the controlled release of the contained beverage content.

  • Patent number: 6773350
Abstract: A game is provided based on real data which changes with time reflecting phenomena occurring in real life. In a game system 10 for providing a virtual stock trade game to players base on the real life stock price data, stock price data is obtained in almost real time from a broker etc., and stock virtually owned by the player in a game space corresponding to real life is evaluated by the stock price data. By allowing the players to compete for a time period until a target total asset value is achieved, a new player can compete under almost the same circumstances as the preceding players regardless of the timing at which they started participating in the game.

  • Patent number: 6761286
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a fluid includes a rigid vial that has a main fluid chamber containing a fluid, and a pump assembly that is in fluid communication with the main fluid chamber and is configured to dispense a predetermined quantity of fluid from the main fluid chamber. A flexible bladder is provided which is located within the main fluid chamber and is configured to expand to fill the ullage created within the main fluid chamber during dispensing of fluid by the pump assembly. The resilient bladder tends to force itself outwardly toward the rigid vial and, in turn, increases the pressure within the main fluid chamber in comparison to the interior of the bladder to thereby prevent the ingress of air or vapors through the bladder or otherwise into the main fluid chamber.

  • Patent number: 6758372
Abstract: With soap and cleansing foam dispensers, there is a risk that they may be equipped with supply containers of unsuitable liquid or that their intermediate containers may become contaminated. According to the invention, an adapter (8) that is mounted on an intermediate container (6) has a coded cylindrical jacket (10), into which coded parts (4,5) that are positioned on the neck of a suitable supply container (2) can be fitted. To prevent the contamination of the intermediate container (6), the latter has a spring-loaded internal sealing plug (50) which ensures the hygienic sealing of the container even prior to use and when the supply container is changed. To prevent interruptions in the operation, a reliable fill-level indicator (22) is provided. The device thus ensures improved, hygienic dispensing of soap-solution in dispensers (1).

  • Patent number: 6755347
Abstract: A method for adjusting the flow quantity in a fuel injector, that has an excitable actuation element, a valve-closure member that can be moved axially along a valve longitudinal axis, the valve-closure member, for the purpose of opening and closing the valve, cooperating with a fixed valve seat that is configured on a valve seat element, and a multilayer, or multiple-disk, perforated disk that is arranged downstream of the valve seat, is characterized by the fact that, in a first method step, the discharged fuel quantity of the opened fuel injector is measured and, in a second method step, a lower base layer of the perforated disk is deformed in the direction of the valve seat into a vacant flow-cross-section of the layer situated on top of it and, as a result, the vacant flow-cross-section within the perforated disk is changed until the actual quantity discharged corresponds to the predetermined setpoint quantity.

  • Patent number: 6752295
Abstract: A dispenser drain attachment includes a threaded cap having a tapered drain socket and an associated drain tube. The interior of the drain tube has a double diaphragm which seals the drain tube, as well as an elastic gas bellows for dispensing liquid portions by alternating deformation of the diaphragm disks of the double diaphragm, which acts as a one-way valve. Such deformation is the result of pressure conditions which change when the gas bellows is compressed and then again released. The dispenser drain attachment is assembled from only two one-piece structural parts, each of which is produced by a two-component injection molding procedure.
