Abstract: A unitary interlocking frame that surrounds the front of a shell of a storage container includes male interlocking members that interlock with female interlocking members provided on the frame of an adjacent container so that when the containers are vertically stacked they can be secured from relative movement with respect to each other.
Abstract: A wood stove has primary and secondary air regulator doors at the bottom and top, respectively, of the stove door each rotating about the axis of a tightening knob in the center of the door opposite a baffle plate that defines with the door inside an air channel open at the top and bottom.
Abstract: The invention is an apparatus for collecting and transporting thermal energy as vaporized fluid. The vapor will flow from a heat absorption chamber and through a conduit to a point of use where it is condensed. The heat absorption chamber includes a sump in its lower portion to hold a puddle of fluid. A heat source directed against the chamber vaporizes the fluid therewithin and a replacement fluid supply connects with the chamber to maintain the level of the puddle during vaporization. The chamber of the preferred embodiment of the invention is an elongated heat absorption pipe mounted horizontally to maintain the puddle at the lower portion of the pipe. The heat absorption pipe is mounted in a solar collector to receive concentrated solar energy as from a reflector system.
Abstract: A coupling device for making a driving connection between a tractor power take-off shaft and a transmission shaft on an implement towed by the tractor has a coupling hub drivingly mounted on the power take-off shaft and a coupling drum coaxially surrounding the coupling hub and substantially fixed with respect to the tractor. A coupling sleeve on a power transmission shaft is detachably connected to the coupling hub by a quick-release fastener means which includes a spring-biased locking ring. A release lever is pivotally mounted on a fixed pivot on the drum and an actuating lever is pivotally connected to the release lever spaced from the fixed pivot. Pivotal movement of the actuating lever will pivot the release lever about its fixed pivot so that the release lever engages the locking ring to release the fastener means and thereby disengaging the sleeve from the hub.
Abstract: A hand-powered tool in which a spindle for driving a tool attachment is driven by a bevel gear. The spindle is supported in bearings on both sides of the bevel gear and extends through an opening in a stationary transverse shaft on which the bevel gear is journaled. Two pinions fixed to the spindle on opposite sides of the transverse shaft are moved into and out of meshing engagement with the bevel gear by shifting the spindle longitudinally in order to reverse the direction of rotation of the spindle.
