  • Patent number: 10538023
Abstract: A hot runner injection molding apparatus, and method of use, is disclosed in which strain gauges are provided in the temperature zones of the hot runner injection molding apparatus and a hot runner controller creates a target strain profile, detects deviations from the target strain profile in any temperature zone based on the strain readings provided by the strain gauges in each temperature zone, and instructs correction of deviations from the target strain profile in any deviating temperature zone by adjusting the heat produced by a heater or heaters in the deviating temperature zone. The target strain profile may be based on a median or average of strain readings provided over time by the strain gauges in each temperature zone. A hollow installation tube for placing the strain gauges in the hot runner injection molding apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10514599
Abstract: The present invention provides an imprint apparatus which forms a relief pattern in an imprint material on a substrate using a mold, the apparatus including a curing unit configured to cure the imprint material, a moving unit configured to relatively move the mold and the substrate, a detection unit configured to detect a pattern of light reflected by the mold and light reflected by the substrate, and a processing unit configured to obtain information on a separation state of the mold and the cured imprint material on the substrate based on the pattern detected by the detection unit while separating the mold from the imprint material by widening, using the moving unit, an interval between the mold and the substrate.

  • Patent number: 10384439
Abstract: A continuous liquid interface production system includes a source of optical stimulation. The system includes a vessel configured to retain a pool or film of optically sensitive monomer and a substantially optically transparent plate retained by the vessel. The optical stimulation is directed through the plate and into the pool or the film based upon a sliced 3D model of the part. The system includes source of reaction inhibitor wherein the substantially optically transparent plate allows the reaction inhibitor to permeate through the plate and into the pool or the film such that a sufficient amount of reaction inhibitor is within the pool or the film to create a zone proximate the plate that prevents polymerization therein.

  • Patent number: 10363693
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing method for a plug for a container neck. In one implementation, a skirt of the plug is molded and provided with an attachment device adapted to removably attach to the container neck and with a permanent retention strip around the container neck. The retention strip is adapted to pass, by folding, from a molding configuration to an operating configuration. A peripheral break line is then cut out in the skirt, adapted so as to be broken during the first opening of the plug. In some implementations, the retention strip may be prefolded and thereby pass from a molding configuration to an intermediate prefolded configuration. The retention strip is then folded until it passes into an operating configuration. In some implementations, the folding of the retention strip may pass the retention strip from an intermediate prefolded configuration to an operating configuration.
