  • Patent number: 11595852
Abstract: A wireless access point software application, adapted to be run within a wireless access point, classifies network data packets with classification identifiers provided by RTC/RTE devices without scanning the content of them. The wireless access point software application receives inbound and outbound packet classification identifiers from the RTC/RTE applications running on the RTC/RTE devices. The identifiers are provided to a hardware data packet classifier. The hardware data packet classifier applies the identifiers against ingress packets and egress packets respectively. Data packets of the same class are assigned with a same priority. The prioritized network data packets are scheduled for transmission based on their respective priorities. The scheduled network data packets are forwarded to respective network interfaces for transmission.

  • Patent number: 11516837
Abstract: Channel state feedback is provided from a UE to a base station as a first, detailed or a second, less detailed type of channel state feedback information. Initially it is determined whether the UE has received an uplink grant from the base station or not. If the UE has received an uplink grant, a first type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station on the granted resource. If, however, the UE has not received an uplink grant, a second type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station. Different types of channel state feedback information enables a UE and an associated to base station to use available resources more efficiently, when requesting for and delivering channel state feedback information.

  • Patent number: 11452098
Abstract: An access point (AP) may signal management frames that include two operation information fields indicating two channel widths for different classes of wireless stations (STAs). STAs may identify one of the two operation information fields based on capabilities of the STA (e.g., whether or not the STA is capable of dual band channel bonding, resource unit or physical channel puncturing, etc.). In some cases, one operation information field may indicate a channel width within a first and second frequency band (e.g., within the 5 GHz band and the 6 GHz band), as well as a puncturing scheme associated with the channel width. In some cases, the operation information field may indicate a dual band channel bonding configuration, where two frequency segments associated with the channel bonding configuration are in two different frequency bands. In some cases, a tightened spectral mask may be used for such dual band channel bonding configurations.
